Chapter 97 - Chapter 97: The Descendant, Gilgamesh (1)

In the evening, Alexander rested in his room with the exhausted Kurumi in his arms, while Tohru and the others rested in their own rooms, filling the entire Alexander villa with a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

However, in this tranquil setting, an uninvited guest arrived quietly.

In the brightly lit city, a figure dressed in golden attire walked along a lively street.

"Where am I? Why did this king suddenly come here?" The figure observed his surroundings, and everyone around him was also watching him. With his keen hearing, he could easily hear the discussions of the people around him.

"Wow! Look! A handsome guy in golden clothes!" It was evident that this voice belonged to an admirer.

"He may be handsome, but why is he wearing such extravagant golden armor? Is he role-playing or something?"

"That's the King of Heroes! Gilgamesh, the ancient king!"

Clearly, Alexander still had many fans, and in an instant, someone recognized the man before them. Yes, this man was the one who had just descended from the world of Fate/Zero! The Ancient King! Gilgamesh!

"What! Gilgamesh! I'm out of here! I won't end up like Nine Tails two days ago! No way! I'm calling the police!"

"Forget about calling the police! What if he's just a cosplay enthusiast?"

Even though there was an incident involving Ultraman defeating Nine Tails two days ago, and the heat of the matter had been dampened by Alexander, the people in the city still knew the truth.

"If you try, you'll find out."

"Damn! It's Gilgamesh! If it's really him, I won't be afraid to die!"

"What's there to fear about Gilgamesh? Haven't you read the latest Chapter 7 of FGO? As a citizen of Uruk, why should I be afraid?"

Fortunately, Alexander had updated the Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night (Fate) lines, including the seventh chapter of FGO, which had greatly increased Gilgamesh's popularity. Particularly, the recent seventh chapter of FGO allowed everyone to witness the majesty of the noble king. For a while, Gilgamesh had become the center of attention.

Moreover, Gilgamesh was different from the berserk Nine Tails. Although Gilgamesh's character was somewhat difficult to describe, he was not a bad person, and he probably wouldn't harm anyone without reason.

Thinking of this, a few brave individuals approached Gilgamesh and asked in a somewhat trembling tone, "May I ask... Are you the King of Heroes' Golden Sparkling?"

"Golden Sparkling? What's that?" Gilgamesh frowned. He had never experienced Fate/Zero, so naturally, he was unaware of his nickname.

Hearing Gilgamesh's puzzled tone, the person in front of him couldn't help but slap himself in the face. Why did he blurt out 'Golden Sparkling' If he got beaten up, he would deserve it!

"Ahem, I mean, are you the King of Heroes, Gilgamesh!"

"How do you know?" In an instant, Gilgamesh's expression changed. How was this possible? He had just arrived; how could anyone recognize him?

"Mongrel! Explain yourself! This king may spare you!"

"What did you just call me?" The man in front of him asked suspiciously.

"Mongrel! Are you deaf?" Gilgamesh glared at the man.

"Mongrel! I was actually called 'Mongrel' by Gilgamesh! This is so cool!" The man's next words stunned Gilgamesh. Why would someone be happy to be scolded? Was this person foolish?

At the same time, a group of people gathered around Gilgamesh. "This tone! It must be Gilgamesh! So handsome! With this tone, it must be none other than our King of Uruk!"

"It's really going downhill. Nowadays, female fans wish to be scolded by Gilgamesh as 'Mongrel'!"

"King! Scold me! Scold me! I'm also a 'Mongrel'!"

Damn! Do I have so many devoted fans here?

Listening to these people, Gilgamesh was completely stunned. What was happening? Was it because of his own perspective? Was this place some kind of gathering for enthusiasts?

"Mongrel! Get out of here!" Gilgamesh grew angry, and ripples appeared in the space behind him as a handful of golden treasures appeared. At that moment, Gilgamesh realized something; for some reason, everyone here knew him and seemed to admire him greatly. Even being scolded by him would make them happy, which left Gilgamesh feeling somewhat helpless.

The more he scolded them, the happier they were, which made Gilgamesh feel even more troubled. After all, even if these people liked him, he had to maintain his dignity as a king!

With that in mind, King's Treasures appeared behind Gilgamesh, and upon seeing his demeanor, all the enthusiasts confirmed his identity; he was their King of Uruk, Gilgamesh!

In this world, there were still many normal enthusiasts. Most of them quickly took photos and fled when they saw the appearance of the golden treasures. Only a few diehard fans remained, as they firmly believed that they were the first batch of courtiers of Gilgamesh and that he would never harm them!
