'How? when did I?' Dre couldn't understand it, the fact that the panel was full meant that he had taken a test, but when did he? He couldn't remember anything except that he blacked out, did he somehow forget? That was unlikely. Gazing at a random direction, he decided to ask.

"W.... "Good luck" Before he could utter the question, he was abruptly Inturupted by the voice laced with a bit of divinity. And not long after his vision blurred.

"Let's see how your race will fair."

***

Urg! What was all that?' Cold breeze brushing against his dark skin, Dre Sluggishly peeled open his eyes to be meet by six lined crimson moons and countless stars in the sky.

"Come on, at least give me some pointers." Picking himself up, he shouted, though except for the rustles of leaves quite a far from the small hill he'd laid on, everything was silent.

'What now?' cursing under his breath, he decided to first comprehend his situation.

As it stood now, he seemed to have been in a field situated in the middle of a forest that had trees towering over twenty metres high_ according to his estimation at least, and a serene atmosphere that screamed of danger that lurked in it.

The field, other than the small hill he'd laid on, was veiled in small peculiar plants that greatly resembled grass, with nothing else on sight.

Sitting back on the Rocky hill, he began piecing together what he currently knew. The status screen was the first thing he reminenced on. Having seen a similar one on different games, the panel wasn't hard to comprehend. Intently gazing at it, he could tell the purpose of almost every attribute.

Starting with his level which was currently 0, like every starting character in a game. To his physical which seemed quite low. According to his estimations, an average male should've had all their physical ranging from 7-10, but him, being a teenager and spending most of his time coupled up in his room with no exercise, the physical it displayed weren't a shock to him. Athough they disappointed him a little, the mana aspect appeared to repress it.

The title, we'll that was something he would gradually earn if he did something outstanding.

'Hunter huh?' he'd played with different characters who had hunter classes, though they had entirely different skills on every game, so he couldn't be sure what skills it gave him. The +(F), presumably meant that F was the lowest tier, but upgradeable which was great.

Skills, those he would attain in the tournaments, when they began at least.

Experience was also quite different on distinct games but ultimately lead to the same conclusion, if the said experience points evened up with his own, then he should level up.

Unassigned points, basically these were points he could add in any of his physicals, athough he didn't know how to attain them.

Last was the gift box, which he assumed was where gained rewards could be stored.

After studying the panel, he couldn't help but wonder, for him to know all this was because of how he liked gaming but what about everyone else who'd never gamed. How were they gonna deal with it? Were they given basic knowledge? Was he the only one treated like that?

Maybe the voice hated him for some reason and just decided to drop him far from the tournaments. But that was highly unlikely, he wasn't anything special. He wasn't some kind of main character, even his class was practically weak so he couldn't see a reason why the voice would treat him this way.

'Am I supposed to traverse that forest? Or just wait?' His mind raced with questions. Before he decided to participate in the tournaments it was already due to begin after two hours. He knew he'd spent a descent amount of time on the space and now after being thrust in this strange world, about ten minutes had gone by. If his calculations were correct then the tournaments should've began a couple of minutes ago or was about to begin, but how was he to know?

However, right as he was about to trek and see if the forest lead anywhere a screen popped up before him.

Dre stared in awe, what did it mean by die? Getting transported back home? Or die, like really die? He couldn't understand it, but the latter seemed more likely, which is why immediately after absorbing the contexts on the panel fully he headed at a random direction towards the forest.

A part of him was scared to death by the tournament and how scary it sounded, and the other was thrilled and excited to explore this new world, rise above every participant and leap the said rewards that couldn't even be mentioned.

Stepping on the weird plants, Dre didn't care about the animals or beasts he could encounter in the forest, infact it was quite the opposite. He was thrilled to enter the forest and he guessed that was due to the effect of the hunter class. With it, crafting weapons and making traps with the knowledge that he somehow gained, survival wouldn't be hard_well he hoped it wouldn't anyway.
