Chapter 3 - She's scholar Hamlet student

Queen Ophelia looked so scared and sad. She was shivering in fear.

HIANG COUNTRY

Days after the incident at the cliff, Queen Ophelia has been gentle and stayed indoors most times.

Leo got a message and sat on the field. He was down; he just wanted to get it and leave. He can't reveal his identity now, and he can't leave this palace without being noticed, and he has been assigned to protect Queen Ophelia with his life.

He watched her sit on the grass, watching the sunset. What can her mission be in this palace because how can a princess sit on the grass watching the sunset?

Queen Ophelia got up and walked towards Leo. She looked beautiful as the gentle wind blew her blonde hair. She wore a green gown topped with a black fur coat. She looked too casual for a queen.

"Leo, how is the sun? Isn't it beautiful?" She smiled, showing her slight dimples.

"You're beautiful," Leo answered incongruously.

"Me," Queen Ophelia was shocked. Leo quickly regained himself and fell on the floor like a devastated flower.

"I'm sorry, my queen. I deserve death; don't spare me," Leo pleaded. It is normal for servants to plead with their lords and ladies with death to pacify their anger.

Queen Ophelia smiled devilishly and pulled Leo's sword. Leo was shocked at her skills, but thinking about this... is she going to kill him?

He raised his head and saw the queen pointing her sword at Kyle, one of King Hyman's men.

"Do you have a death wish?" Queen Ophelia yelled like an angry and provoked lioness.

"I deserve death, Kyle pleaded.

"Here, and now you'll get that," she said angrily. Leo took notice of that accent; that is not Chang's country's accent, and neither is it Hiang. then where did she come from?

Kyle raised his head when he heard Queen Ophelia's aid and saw her with a sword. He was shocked.

"I've killed my mother. I don't want to kill anymore people." Queen Ophelia dropped the sword on the floor and walked away.

The two servants have different thoughts going through their heads. "She killed her own mother? Then she must be very heartless!" That was what Kyle was thinking.

"Her accent really sounds foreign. Has she been with a scholar before? Whose accent is like this among the scholars?" Those were thoughts going through Leo's head.

ROYAL CONTEST:

The chief royal secretary wants his daughter, royal concubine Elspeth, to be the winner. They all know Queen Ophelia was a princess before becoming a queen and would know nothing about literature.

Everybody settled. Royal Sally was extraordinarily happy because she'll watch Queen Ophelia being humiliated here today as she claims the crown.

Queen Ophelia entered some minutes later. She stood in the middle and looked around the crowd. She looked like a mother searching for her child at the okay ground for discipline. She smiled when she saw the emperor.

The chief royal secretary smiled when he saw the queen. It is time for it. The royal concubines and royal consort got up; they stood beside the queen.

The noble scholar Hamlet gave out instructions: "The blue tag will be raised for no, the red tag will be raised for yes, and the black tag for all good," he declared. He looked noble with his black and grey hair. He wore black pants and a blue shirt with his cowboy boots and hats. He looked knowledgeable and full of wisdom.

His accent is obvious when he speaks. It is obvious he was a well-sorted man during his youth because he still looks handsome in his old age.

He asked a question: "When a poet is not in love with his poem, what can he do?" He asked. He rested his back on his rocky chair like a king.

The royal concubines looked at each other. They both knew they were screwed because they don't have an answer to the question.

"He switches his genre," royal consort Sally answered proudly. She knew she would win because everyone is not as knowledgeable as she is in literature.

Everyone raised the red tag for royal Sally, signifying a yes. Queen Ophelia smirked and raised a blue tag.

"I'm confused, my queen," the prime minister said, trying to hide his anger. Royal Sally is his only daughter, and she's a means for him to be stronger and get the throne, but here is the queen disturbing his shine.

He knew he would be elevated to greater heights if Royal Sally won this contest. "Hmmm...you know nothing about literature. Noble scholar Hamlet was going to raise his blue tag too," Queen Ophelia said without restraint.

Everyone looked shocked; a noble lady wouldn't talk so casually. Noble scholar Hamlet looked at her. "She isn't Ophelia but Omega," he thought.

"Why is royal Sally wrong?" he asked queen Ophelia. He wants to confirm his guess. "He should not change his genre but his mood. Maybe trying a pastoral elegy from a ballad," Queen Ophelia replied with a big smile.

"That wasn't enough; any normal person with literature knowledge would know that," noble scholar Hamlet said.

His way of expressing himself is changing all words and making them go against each other.

"Poets in their youth begin in gladness."

"But there comes in the end despondency and madness." Queen Ophelia replied, still smiling.

"He's trying to confirm his guess. Yes, I'm Omega; you're little girl," Queen Ophelia thought. She smiled bitterly. She can't hug noble scholar Hamlet after being away from him for years.

"You notice when we talk about men of genius..."

"We try to explain his failure."

"When the rain drops on a king, the whole kingdom will suffer," noble scholar Hamlet said.

He knew what would come next; he looked at his little girl. Whatever her mission is here in the palace, he only hopes the stress isn't too much for her. She's innocent and fragile.

"When all contemplative men are in their conspiracy to overrate their state of life, all great writers are of them expecting the great poets." Queen Ophelia replied.

Everyone around gasped, including the servants and slaves. Noble scholar Hamlet is the most intelligent man in the whole of the Rukuma dynasty, and here the Queen has a reply to all his questions.

FLASHBACK

King Hyman was practicing his archery when Queen Ophelia entered. "My Lord," she bowed. "My lady, why are you here? I dropped some literature book in the room for you." The king picked up an arrow and placed it on the bow. He looked handsome and seductive wearing a deep blue furry overcoat to cover himself because of the cold.

"I don't know anything about literature, but my sister knows a lot about it," Queen Ophelia replied. "What! Your sister?" King Hyman was shocked.

"Never mind, my lord," Queen Ophelia laughed awkwardly. "Want to try archery?" he asked. "I know nothing about that too, but I bet you can't compete with my sister," she said again.

"Again," they both laughed.

Back to Present:

"So this is her sister?" King Hyman thought and raised his black tab. Scholar Hamlet knew his little girl was alive and fine; he felt his belly jumb in excitement. He raised the black tab, "She's my student. My notorious omega," he thought happily.

Leo looked at scholar Hamlet and Queen Ophelia. "Same accent," he thought.

What is going on?
