"So these Saiyans you speak of." Huyan Xiong said with a hand on his chin and a thoughtful expression while the 2 men next to him looked at the young man with cautious expressions.

Leek, with his body covered in bandages, shook his head a couple of times. "They no longer exist, I am almost 100% sure that I am the only thing left of them"

Having told the whole story he had come up with since he fell into this world, Leek nodded, letting the men think about all the information they had received.

"I see, we need a few minutes to think about everything you have said, please wait outside the tent, we will call you when we are done"

With that said, Leek nodded, stood up, and left without saying anything else.

As soon as the young man left, one of the men next to Huyan Xiong took a scroll from his pocket and tore it. "Patriarch, the array is active, for the next 30 minutes no one outside this tent will hear us"

"Very well." Patriarch Xiong nodded before his expression turned serious. "What do you think?"

"Well, it is…" One of the men said, trying to think of a word that would describe what they had just heard.

"Quite fanciful." The other completed after some thought.

The former nodded before looking worriedly at his patriarch. "Can we really trust this child's words?"

Huyan Xiong scratched his head, this was proving to be a pain, he preferred situations where he would simply have to beat up demonic beasts or members of the dark guild to settle things, but since he was the highest-rank person in the place, he had to make an extra effort to settle everything in a way that would most benefit Glory City.

"There are some slightly strange parts, but the power the boy showed us is real, and just as he said, what he uses seems different from soul force"

"You don't think… he could be a member of the dark guild?"

Xiong shook his head a few times. "I doubt it, how much do you estimate his power to be?"

Both men looked at each other before one spoke. "He killed at least 55 Armed Blue Apes and fought one that shouldn't have less power than four silver stars, all without weapons and only with that strange armor as protection, and from what we could see, it doesn't seem to have helped him much"

"Also, as far as we checked, that last ape had several internal injuries, who knows what would have happened if we hadn't interrupted that last clash, perhaps he could have killed the beast at the cost of his life"

Both of them thought about their own words for several seconds before answering. "I would say that his power is equivalent to a peak silver-rank spiritualist, perhaps even a gold-star"

The Huyan Family Patriarch nodded in agreement. "He said that he is 15 years old, now tell me, do you know anyone in his age range in Glory City who has such power?"

Both men widened their eyes in surprise, beginning to understand where the Patriarch's words were going.

"My brother Ye Zong's adopted son, Ye Han, who was hailed as the peerless genius of Glory City and the favorite to be the next city lord, when he went on a trip 2 years ago he had just ascended to the first gold star, and he was 18 years old at the time, do you understand what I mean?"

It was as if a revelation hit both men in the face, and they both understood the Patriarch's words. "With the talent this boy has, if he belonged to the dark guild they would never let him out without protection"

"I doubt they would even let him out." The other said. "That group of scoundrels wouldn't risk losing such a valuable asset, they would surely fill him with pills and elixirs in an attempt to strengthen him even more to later use him as a weapon against Glory City"

Huyan Xiong nodded in agreement. "It is just as you say, based on these facts, I really doubt that this child is part of the Dark Guild, but even if he were, it would be our duty to take him to Glory City to be properly questioned"

"Patriarch, are we really taking him with us?"

"Yes, I will introduce him to the city lord, that way he can draw his own conclusions, if he really is who he claims to be, our home could gain a powerful ally"

"And if he turns out to be a member of the Dark Guild?"

"Then no matter how talented he is, he won't be able to escape the group of black gold rank spiritualists that will be surrounding him"

Both men nodded to their patriarch, and one of them left the tent to call the kid.

"So that is Glory City? It's huge!" Leek said, looking at the city in the distance, at that moment, he along with the Huyan family group had just circled around a mountain and could see the enormous city.

"That's right kid, come on, if we hurry up we'll be there in a few hours." Patriarch Huyan lightly patted him on the back before everyone quickened their pace.

A while later, the entire group arrived at the city's entrance gate, and because he was with an important family group, Leek went completely unnoticed.

As everyone walked, Leek looked in all directions, there were food stalls, shops, and a lot of people walking on all the streets.

And in the middle of all the hustle and bustle, Huyan Xiong took the opportunity to whisper something to two men who were under his direct command.

They both saluted and turned around, walking away with the rest of the soldiers.

"Huh? Where are they going?" Leek asked as he saw them leaving in a different direction than they were advancing.

"They will return to my family's property, but we will go directly to the place where the lord of the city is"

"Oh, he is the one you mentioned before, right? The leader of this place." Leek asked, receiving a nod in response.

Knowing that, they both continued on their way for another hour without making any stops until they finally reached an incredibly large residence.

At the entrance, it only took the guards to see Huyan Xiong before giving him a formal greeting and letting him in.

Unfortunately, it seemed that things did not go as Patriarch Xiong would have liked, because the secretary of the city lord reported that the man was not in the place, and worse yet, he had left earlier that day in the morning, but not before saying that he would not return for about 5 or 6 days.

Leek could see how Huyan Xiong seemed to deflate discouraged before sighing and turning around, walking towards the exit, and making a sign to him to follow him.

"So, since the city lord was not present, what will we do? I… it wouldn't be bad if I stay without him knowing about me?" The young man asked the adult.

The demonic spiritualist thought for a moment before making his decision. "I know the city lord well, he is my sworn brother, I know that if I explain the situation to him, he will understand me"

"Then…"

"You can stay at my house until I explain your case to the city lord, what happens after that is up to him"

Leek bowed slightly and gave a thank you before they both moved forward.

The path was neither very lively nor very quiet, Leek observed each thing that caught his attention, and on a couple of occasions he asked some questions, like when he saw a young man transforming, a pair of horns emerged from his forehead, while his torso widened several times, the young man checked himself a couple of times before returning to normal, nodding and continuing on his way.

The young Saiyan already knew that what he had seen was the transformation of a Demonic Spiritualist, after all, he had seen Huyan Xiong and his soldiers do the same, but he still didn't know what they were really doing to achieve this.

Huyan Xiong was a straightforward man, to the point where, in his opinion, some fools could call him a brute, so he felt particularly refreshed when Leek came to him for knowledge.

So for the rest of the way, he dedicated himself to explaining how the fusion of spiritualists and demonic beasts worked, from the extraction of the demon spirits of the few beasts that possessed it, going through the silver rank, which was the one that anyone who wanted to carry out the union process had to reach, to the steps that a spiritualist had to follow when he decided to fuse with a spirit.

"I see, so not only is the physique improved, but you can also expand the repertoire of skills since you will have the same ones as the spirit you absorb"

"Your people really never used demonic beasts for anything other than food?"

"I've never seen any Saiyan using Demonic Spirits, I doubt they knew they could be used like that, and even if they had known, I'm sure they wouldn't have used them, Saiyans are… well, they were very proud, they would see it as a form of weakness and distrust of your own power"

"I see." Huyan Xiong nodded as they finally, along with the sunset, arrived at the entrance of their enormous home.

"Wow, it's quite big." He said as they both entered, although Leek hadn't seen the whole place, it seemed to him that it should be the same size as the city lord's residence.

Huyan Xiong raised his chin slightly. "Well, I am a black gold rank spiritualist, and I am also the sworn brother of the city lord, strong people are appreciated in Glory City"

As the two walked through the Huyan family courtyard, a woman who seemed to be an employee or servant approached them both. "Welcome back, patriarch." She bowed in greeting. "Mr. Huyan Yun returned and asked me to tell you when you returned that what you asked him for when you returned to Glory City is already prepared"

The patriarch nodded and glanced at Leek. "I must go, I won't be long." He clarified before looking at the servant. "Give him something to drink and prepare one of the guest rooms for the boy"

"Right away." The woman bowed again as the man walked away. "This way please, young guest." She said, looking at Leek and indicating for him to follow her.

Third Person P.O.V

Huyan Lanruo walked through the front door of her house's estate before stretching, even though she had to attend classes, today had been fun, especially since while walking around the city, she had found a beautiful violet dress that fit her perfectly, so without hesitation, she had bought it just before another of the girls in her class did, which earned her a look of envy from that girl and her friends.

She knew she was beautiful, and she loved the attention she gained because of her appearance, she also knew that some people criticized her for it, but so what? That wasn't her problem, what was wrong with her liking to show off?

In her opinion, a beautiful flower was meant to be appreciated, so she simply ignored the disdainful glances before continuing on her way with a satisfied smile.

"Well, I think I'll go change into something more comfortable and then go say hello to Dad, if the scout's estimate they sent yesterday was correct, he should be home already." She said to herself as she walked in the direction of the main residence.

But, just as she was passing by one of the secondary houses she saw something strange, more specifically someone strange, sitting in the front hall of the house was a boy with a steaming cup in his hands, moving his legs back and forth as he looked at the sky and occasionally took a sip of the drink.

Not only did Lanruo not remember ever seeing him in her house, but his attire seemed incredibly peculiar to her, it looked like some kind of combat armor, which ruled out the possibility of him being a servant, but the possibility of him being a guard also seemed low to her, the armor worn by her family's guards was the same for everyone, and the security personnel had their own space for both leisure and training.

So the girl decided to stop thinking so much and just get the answers directly from the source.

So, with a calm step, she approached, and when she was about 10 meters away, he turned his head to look at her.

Their eyes met, and Lanruo could see curiosity in his expression, so she decided to be the one to take the first step to communicate.

"Hello there, little brother, who are you?" She asked, smiling sweetly as she leaned slightly to show a little cleavage.

But, although she could notice the small remnant of embarrassment that appeared on the young man's face when his gaze fell on her chest, he quickly repressed all this and looked her straight in the eyes, which surprised Lanruo a little, since very few people had looked her in the eyes so directly, and the pair of pink orbs like cherry petals met directly with the pair of black orbs like the void.

This was so unusual and surprising that, involuntarily, she was the one who looked away first.

"My name is Leek, I don't have a last name, nice to meet you." The moment she heard his voice, she came back to her senses and was once again able to look at his face.

'What was that?' She asked herself before deciding what she would think about it later. "I am Huyan Lanruo, and what I was asking is why are you in my family's estate? You don't look like a servant, are you perhaps a new guard?"

Leek shook her head. "No, I came with Mr. Huyan Xiong, he saved me from a demonic beast a few days ago and then invited me to Glory City"

"Dad bring you? And what do you mean he invited you to Glory City?" Huyan Lanruo was incredibly confused, how could someone invite another person to Glory City? There was nowhere else to live or go.

Leek was surprised to learn that the girl in front of him was the daughter of the man who had saved his life, but beyond that, he understood the doubt she had.

Huyan Xiong had initially also refused to believe him even after seeing that he had a tail, and had only considered giving him the benefit of the doubt when he proved that ki and soul force were different energies.

"Well, that's because I'm not from Glory City, I wandered around this land for a while and met Mister Xiong a few days ago"

"What?!" Lanruo's expression was one of shock, claiming to come from somewhere other than Glory City was the same as saying one could breathe underwater, an impossible claim. "Y-you're lying, there is no human settlement outside of Glory City, the whole world is plagued by demonic beasts"

"Well, if you don't believe me, you can ask your father, look, there he comes." Leek replied, pointing at the approaching man, after all, he had no real proof to support the tale he had created about the Saiyans, so he would leave the task of telling the story to his host.

Lanruo turned her neck so fast that it almost seemed like she would hurt herself, there she saw her father approaching with a small sack while looking at her with a complicated expression.

"Dad, what he says is true?" She asked in an incredulous voice.

Huyan Xiong sighed, for this reason, he had hurried, but it seemed that it was too late, in the face of his noisy daughter pretending ignorance or trying to make up an excuse would be inefficient, besides, once he spoke to the city lord he was sure that it would be announced that there were more places besides Glory City where humans lived in order to encourage exploration to find these places, invite people to come and increase the amount of people living here.

"Calm down." He said, making a sign with his hands, trying to calm his daughter. "What he says is true, there is no need to make a fuss"

Having received confirmation, Lanruo turned around once more, looking at Leek in surprise, who after taking another sip of his drink waved his hand as if greeting her.

"Leek will be staying here for a few days, I intended to introduce him to the city lord the moment we return, but it seems he won't be available for the next few days"

The surprise did not leave Lanruo for several seconds, this was quite impressive, the first person that wasn't from Glory City, she was sure that her father would gain some reputation thanks to this feat.

"About that." Leek's voice caught her attention once again. "There is a favor I would like to ask of Mr. Xiong." He said, placing his cup on the wooden floor and standing up.

Huyan Xiong raised an eyebrow. "Let's hear it"

Leek bowed 90 degrees. "Please have a fight with me." He asked in a serious voice.

"Eh?" Both father and daughter let out their disbelief.
