After Selena's recent victory over Mia, hardly anyone believed Eric had a chance.
It wasn't a question of strength. Eric wasn't weak. But unfortunately for him, Selena operated on a completely different level. It was the difference between talent and genius. A talented person might achieve incredible heights in their field, but a genius rewrites the very rules of the game. Eric was undoubtedly talented, someone many would envy. However, Selena was a genius. At fifteen, her skill level was only slightly behind fighters like Aurora, Lilliana, or Adrian—individuals considered one in a million.
