When Alice explained her position within the student council, I was left completely in shock. I mean, when she said she held the most important position in the Executive Committee, I expected her to be the leader or something of the sort.
However, how could the Messenger be the most important position?
As I looked over at Alice, whose bright brown eyes were twinkling with pride, I rethought my question and decided not to inquire about the matter any further.
I still needed her to escape from this place at the end of the day.
I suppose I can play along with that for now, but does being an apprentice mean I have to inherit her position when she graduates? I don't want to be known as the Messenger for the student council!
