"The main villain of Love Beneath the Moonlight… Alicia Stardust!"
If the words left the mouth of someone else, they might have felt terrified and may have fallen into despair. However, when I finally understood my identity, a smug grin began to curl the corner of my lips.
Not only did I become such a powerful and beautiful woman, but this was also all before the brutal events of the game took place. As long as I trained diligently, I could reach the top of my class before it was my time to go to the Royal Academy!
I quickly turned around and walked out of the luxurious bathroom while I reminded myself to try out that massive bathtub later. Once I arrived back to my room, a sudden knock on the door caught my attention, and a voice called from behind it.
"Young Lady, are you awake now? I have brought your breakfast."
The high-pitched voice from behind the door gave off and reminded me of my younger sister. Which revealed to me if anything it was likely that this was a young girl. While I wasn't sure I knew there was one thing that was off the table, there was no way she was my sister. Alicia didn't have any siblings, as it was directly stated in the game.
Whoever it was that was speaking to me was likely a maid or a possibly a cousin. I leaned more toward the first option because it was also stated in the game that Alicia didn't exactly get along well with her family.
I was happy that as soon as I had gotten to this world, food was being brought to me, but quickly the happiness turned into worry. Even though I had played the game that this world originated from to its completion, most of Alicia's background is unknown to the player.
While being the antagonist, she isn't truly a character that is really focused on in the story. The only times you see Alicia in the game is when she is confronting the female lead, so most of her backstory is completely unknown.
I have to talk like Alicia does in the game or it would come off as strange to whoever this is. In that case, I suppose this is my first act as the future Villainess. I swiftly shuffled back into the massive bed and raised the blankets to my waist before sitting up on the bed. Only then did I finally respond to the voice that had called out to me from behind the wooden door.
"You may enter."
I forced a tone of sternness into my beautiful, silky voice. Love Beneath the Moonlight didn't have any voice acting, so my interpretation of Alicia's voice was only up to my interpretation of her character. The wooden door clicked and slowly opened, revealing a short and cute silver-haired girl.
Her blue pupils matched the black and white maid dress she was wearing, which did in fact confirm my earlier suspicion. The silver hair was also tied into perfectly adjacent twin tails that fell right to the length of her shoulders. Her slender body revealed a sense of innocence that I wanted to protect, even though she had only now been introduced to me.
In her grasp was a black tray that had a porcelain bowl with a creamy white liquid in it. Also was a clear glass with an orange liquid, which likely was orange juice. I had to take into account that as the fiancé of the future King, I likely had to keep a strict diet, which meant that I likely hadn't been eating junk food like I did in my past life.
After releasing a deep sigh, I realized that the girl who was holding the tray still hadn't moved from her position beside the door. Instead, she continued to meet my gaze with a wide smile and bright eyes as she continued to observe me.
Why hasn't she brought me the food? I couldn't tell at first if she was being disrespectful or if she was afraid before an idea suddenly crept into my head.
Could it possibly be that I haven't given her the order to? With the status that Alicia possessed, it was in fact likely that none of her maids dared to approach her without adequate permission. However, a new problem now highlighted my mind. What was the name of this girl?
I didn't even know if Alicia had addressed the girl by her name in the past. With the difference in their social statuses it was possible that Alicia just called her 'girl' or 'you'. Since I had no idea how to address her, I slowly outstretched my arm and beckoned her forth with my fingers in a subtle motion. While doing so, I still made sure to maintain the elegant and graceful persona that Alicia had displayed in the game.
It was upon that action that the girl displayed to me a beautiful, closed-eyed smile before she began walking forward to my bed. Upon reaching it, she repositioned the tray into one hand before slowly reaching under the tray and extending wooden legs from the tray that was hidden underneath it.
After extending the legs, she gently placed the tray on my lap, which gave me a whiff of the tasty aroma that was radiating off of the bowl. It very much reminded me of the hot cereals, like oatmeal that I had eaten all the time in my past life.
Before I could even grasp the silver spoon that was dipped in the creamy substance in the bowl. The silver-haired girl finally spoke once more as she looked upon me with a dejected gaze.
"Young Lady, don't you want me to feed you like usual?"
What! The Villainess of that game was being fed breakfast by her maid? Why would that ever be happening? Who would ever even agree to such an embarrassing act? However, by her bold expression, it was obvious that she wasn't lying. Proposing such a thing to the daughter of a Duke could lead to one losing their head.
Well, if Alicia allowed her maid to feed her every morning, then it would be strange for me to refuse her so suddenly, right? In that case, I reluctantly decided to allow the girl to feed me. However, I knew it was important to continue to stay in character, so I twisted my lips into an evil-looking smile. The same smile that Alicia had always donned in the game as I spoke with a rich and delirious tone.
"Then go ahead and feed me. Don't make me wait."
However, the reaction that awaited me wasn't exactly what I expected. A faint blush formed around the silver-haired girl's puffy cheeks. Her professional and profound body language wavered as her sudden words pierced the silence that formed after I spoke.
"Young lady, when did you become so cute?"
