After beating up the creature, they soon realize that they person could not speak the same language as them, this was hard, so Brian asked him to point, but that was after he had broke three of his claw fingers.
They tied him up and rushed towards the direction he pointed, when they showed up, they saw a group of six similar beast men all working on some strange looking device, on the floor not far away, Emily could be seen sobbing, she wasn't alone as other children were aldo held captive, some of them were easily recognized.
"Marry from Mrs Barbara, Joshua and Susan, even the Brown's kids are here, what's this?" Wondered Lucas, his hand shook in fear, Brian was different he was calm, but the expression he harbored was terrifying, "slave dealers from another dimension " He blurted out, if not of the dangerous situation, Lucas would have laughed out loud and told him to stop watching too many animation show, but with all that has happened and it's happening, doing that would make him be the idiot.
"That's said, how did you learn how to use the gun?" Asked Brian, "Dad thought me" He answered without looking at him, "when all this end, teach me too" Asked Brian.
"In your dreams!" Said Lucas, Brian turn towards him, "why?" Lucas shook his head, "so you can go shutting people around?" He looked back at Emily and the others, "that's a no no, and you already have your self defense classes " Said Lucas, Brian was angry, "what the hell, that's a stupid reason, I would not shoot any body- only those who annoy me" He said, Lucas was speechless, but their body shook instantly as the felt a threat behind them.
A minute later, they were thrown Infront of the beast leader, he frowned and look at the bulky beast who look like the mixture of a leopard and a bull, the man spoke and the leader who had the features of a snake with long ears frowned.
In all they chaos, Brian and Lucas could not understand what they were saying, their language was out of this world, but from the gestures they made, it looks like they were in a hurry, "we don't have much time behind us" Blurted Brian, Lucas nodded, both were dragged were Emily and the others were held captive.
"Heh sis, are you okay?" Asked Brian grinning, Emily frowned, "do I look like I am happy or enjoying this situation?" She glared at him, Brian ignored her and look at the others, some of them look weak and tired but none were injured, that was positive to begin with, he turn towards the beast moving up down in a hurry.
"Heh, what do you think they are building up?" Asked Brian, Lucas look at the strange metals and crystal bulbs being connected forming a strange looking circle, "I don't know, but if we are still around when it's finished, things would not go well" Said Lucas, Brian nodded, "I know that" He immediately freed his hands, Lucas was lost, 'how?' that was his first thought, but he immediately understood seeing Brian with a scout dagger, "I am surprised that you haven't stabbed someone yet with that knife " Said Lucas laughing sarcastically.
"Listen well, you all would rush towards the bushes and hide while I and Lucas would distract them, go as far as possible from this place got me right" said Brian, they kids nodded, Emily came closer, "don't play hero, you wouldn't get anything from doing this, let's all run away together " She held on Brian's coat, Brian smiled, "don't worry, I am fast, they wouldn't catch up to a smart and strong guy like me, and for sure, I would be right behind you guys" He reassured her, Emily did not look quite satisfied by the response, but time was against them, she did not have the choice but to obey.
"That's a fat lie" Said Lucas, Brian ignored him, "you saw them right, they way the flew around, and they speed at which they did that, an ordinary human can do that" Said Lucas, Brian was getting annoyed by the nagging, "instead of talking search were the threw the gun" Lucas looked at a particular direction, on the muddy floor, they gun was lying, thrown away by one of the guards who did not know it's utility.
"I would distract them, you get they gun" Said Brian, standing up and walking towards them, "heh wait, what the hell are you doing!" Lucas tried to catch him but it was too late.
"Heh! Can you guys tell me who you are and were your coming from?" Asked Brian walking towards them, but an arrow stroke the floor near his boots, sign for him to stop or else, Brian slightly tremble, "that was close" He look up as the snake man guy showed up, he was frowning, and look impatient.
He lifted his hand and turn away, the people lifted his arrow, Brian feld and ominous feelings, seeing the arrows directed towards him, he suddenly fell the threat of dead on his head.
Boom!
At the same time, the strange looking oval metal glowed up as each material connecting it levitated magically, a line drew out of space like a cut in dimensions as a mixture of colorful lights glowed within, the beast and humans froze ast the mesmerizing sight.
Lucas was they first to snap out of the trance as he ran towards the gun's location, one of the beastmen felt the movement and immediately saw Lucas running towards the strange metallic object, he felt that if that man got it back, things would become dangerous, so he armed the arrow and target Lucas, seeing this Brian roared startling the beastmen, the person unplug his arrow, which flew scratching Lucas on his leg, Lucas felt a slight pain, but did not stop, he immediately jumped rolled and grab the gun and pointed towards the beastmen.
"If you succeed in grabbing the gun, shoot, don't ask any questions, because the slight hesitation would be our lost, got it?" Brian's words came back, Lucas gritted his teeth and close his eyes for a brief second, before opening them back.
Bang! Bang!
A headshot, the beast fell from the tree, his face showed to all, the beast look young, seemingly the same age as them, Lucas hand tremble slightly, but he did not stop as the face of the person was drawn in his head, he aimed the gun at the others.

Chaos fell upon the plains, as beast flew from trees to trees dodging and hiding, meanwhile Brian rush towards the strange looking oval door, "what's this thing!" Brian feld something bad was happening, when his hand came closer to the door, images flash in his mind.

"Lucas!" Brian immediately rushed towards Lucas, the beastmen took the opportunity to rush at the portal crossing it one after another, they carried away the wounded and the dead, and passed through the door, Brian was furious, he rushed towards them, but his hand was held by Lucas.
"No!" Lucas looked up Brian, "that's to dangerous, don't go closer" Brian gritted his teeth looking at the beastmen crossing the line, that when the unexpected occured.
Krkrkrkr dumb boom!
Lightening stroke from the sky hitting the door, which deviated the strike towards Lucas, it could not be dodged, but Lucas felt a strong force pushing him away, he look up at Brian who was stroke by the lightening, the white line immediately reverted to dark and swayed in a spiral form absorbing his surroundings like a black hole, the lightening dragged Brian within the door, the last thing Brian saw was Lucas terrified and powerless expression as he scream out his name, before his vision went dark.
Lucas looked at the scene Infront of him lost of words, he immediately went on his kneel shocked, he look around left and right, "what am I doing here?" He asked himself, looking around, he felt pain and touched his shoulder, there was nothing there, he stood up and walked away, not far away, he saw the kids, they look lost.
"What are you guys doing here?" He asked, Emily and the others look at Lucas, "your here, I don't really know, we just found ourselves here, let's go back home, I am freezing " Said Emily, just like that, all the kids went back home, on the way back, the encountered a rope on the floor with what look like dust on the floor, Lucas picked up the rope and ignored the dust.
They reach home and entered the house, Leonard and Jeanne immediately showed up, "where were you guys ?" Asked Jeanne slightly angry, "look at the weather!" She scoulded them, but when they heard the story, they were confused, "you don't remember?" The parents were lost of words, after some explanation, the kids were asked to go take a bath and wash away the dirt, Emily ran to the bath, but stopped near the door, "why am I running?" She was lost, she had the feeling of always running against someone for the bathroom.
Lucas looked at her, he turn towards a picture on the small shelve, and picked it up, everything look normal, his father and mother were there, his younger sister and him, "hmm, what went into us to leave a vacant space went taking this picture?" He wondered.
"Hmm, are you okay?" Lucas turn towards Leonard and Jeanne, "what's wrong?" He asked, even his sister was looking at him, "why are you crying?" Asked his sister, her too had a tear dropping down, "what's going on, I have the feeling to have forgotten something very important " Said Lucas, Emily nodded, "something very important..."
