The meeting was coming to a close with both sides finally agreeing on further investigations before any actions were taken. Although Lord Ferdinand and Lady Morgana still strongly opposed the idea, they couldn't do anything about the odds not being in their favor.
Suddenly, Lord Cedric stood up, his eyes curious as he faced Lady Morgana. "We all know that Lord Ferdinand's reason for immediate striking is due to his son's condition," he began, pausing as if waiting for the content of what he just said to digest before continuing. "But what are your reasons for taking these actions, Lady Morgana?"
"It's none of your business, Cedric!" Lady Morgana let out a low growl.
"None of my business? Of course, it's not my business, but it's the kingdom's business," Cedric pressed forward. He really wanted to know. There was no way Lady Morgana, who had never been concerned about the kingdom's interests, suddenly started caring about it for no reason.
