It been three weeks since the war started. In the aftermath of the ongoing war, the first line of defenders had retreated to receive healing, while the second line had moved to guard the space that had been regained.
"John, please put him in tent number five," Aria instructed. "His injury isn't too severe," she continued, making sure to assess each patient's condition and assign them to the appropriate tents for treatment.
John, always finding an excuse to avoid work, exclaimed with playful annoyance, "Yes, ma'am!" He quickly passed the task on to someone else, not wanting to bother with the laborious task.
"And by the way," he continued,
"I'm injured too! Why do I have to do all the work while you just stand there and give orders?"
His finger pointed towards David, who was nearby, as he asked, "And who the hell is this guy?"
David and aria both look at john as then aria look up at david as he being as playful as ever, casually placed his arm around Aria's shoulders, leaning on her for support as his chin was on aria head.
Aria chuckled, feigning embarrassment, as she remembered David. "Ah, I completely forgot about him..." she explained, a hint of sarcasm in her voice. "This is David. He's one of the guards in this area, and poor guy, he's got a scratch on his life core!"
David nodded, dramatically playing up his injury for sympathy.
John, sitting comfortably on a chair, expressed surprise as he learned about David's situation.
"Hang on," he said. "Does that mean he can't use magic for a while?"
Aria nodded, confirming John's assumption. "Yes, but he's strong enough to protect us even without magic," she explained. "Still, I'm doing my best to heal him."
With that, she walked over to John, ready to tend to his injuries.
"So how is everything going?" Aria says as john closes his eyes as he gets healing
"Everything fine we are taking the lead since those humans are too weak but" "but?" Aria ask
after john stop talking for minutes "something wrong i don't know what but those humans are to quite there definitely something wrong with them"
"It feels like they know every move of ours but they take the hit instead of dodging it" Aria rises her eyebrows "did you do something about it? Han did warned me..."
John looks at her and sighs "he did warn me too" john looks at aria as he continues "After I found out, I sent a message to Charles, but damn, not a word from him."
He expressed a mix of frustration and disappointment at the lack of response or action from Charles.
"His highness doesn't respond? But he always sends us all the support from mana stones to all kinds of weapons?" David says as he sit beside john
"He is?" John's surprise was evident in his tone, his gaze shifting to his hands.
"Do you think someone is intercepting these messages?" Aria says as her words caught his
attention, and he turned to her seriously.
"You think someone is intercepting these messages?" John asked, the gravity of the situation
sinking in."Well that possibly!"....

"Your highness your assistant had successfully done his job" the servant said as he bow down to william A smirk tugged at William's lips as he affirmed his trust in the sender. "Well, I have confidence in him, considering he's already delivered their plans, and a significant surprise awaits them," he stated.
William's tone exuded satisfaction as he added, "But let them enjoy their moment before they find out what's in store for them."....
