Chapter 42 Wood Golem
As the sun began to set over the hunting grounds, Karn's sharp senses detected movement ahead. Peering through the underbrush, he saw a small creek with a clutch of vividly-colored mushrooms growing along its banks. His eyes widened in recognition - those were the highly prized tier 7 middle Spiritual mushroom, renowned for boosting aura attunement and meditation resilience when brewed into an elixir.
Slinging his sword over his back, Karn crept forward carefully to harvest the rare fungi. As he knelt down though, the ground began to tremble ominously.
With a mighty heave, the earth itself burst open as a towering figure clawed its way to the surface - a ten foot tall golem comprised entirely of woven tree roots and vines.
"A tier 4 middle lord level wood golem !" Karn exclaimed. This was one of the highest ranked constructs released for the freshman hunt.
