He was lost in his thoughts processing the information that he had already gathered on this trip so far and was staring into the fire. I felt a beast of some sort that entered into his radius, and he snapped out of it.
'Well, this fire would attract them. It is a beacon.'
He grabbed another piece of wood and placed it on the fire and unsheathed his saber.

He appeared a distance away from the beast he sensed. It was as he thought. It was a razor rat. It was an odd sight. The creature was walking slowly in the direction of the fire.
'Is it sneaking? Are they getting smarter? How odd.'
It was also a nice change to be the predator and not the prey. The razor rat couldn't see him because he was covered in shadows, thanks to his shadow camouflage ability.
