The goblins chased after Baaz, at first Baaz had the lead and he left them all in the dust,he was running with all his might but being unfamiliar with the layout of the forest he started losing speed.He had to avoid the difficult terrains and be on guard at the same time.Ten meters behind him the Hobgoblin was following an excited grin on his face,while shouting
" Give up demon ,you prey,escape chiiieek you can't "
That alone fuelled Baaz as he didn't want to let himself be captured because who knows what that goblin chief is planning for him and God knows he didn't want to find out. After five longs minutes running at full speed ,Baaz lost sight of his pursuants and he was starting to feel relief but this feeling didn't last as when he looked ahead he could not believe his eyes.Fifteen goblins were standing there waiting for him,they stood there cackling evilly,Baaz stopped.He looked back, the goblins that were pursuing him have disappeared and now others were blocking his path.
" Fuck,they seem determined to capture me ".Seeing him, the goblins started laughing" kikkii,kiiikii ,demon you done"said one of them,they spread out and encircled him,that was his third time on the day in this situation.His eyes were trying to take all the information but he did not even had the capacity to perceive it.
BAM... !!!! That's all he heard before feeling himself being projected by an unnatural force.He rolled on the ground and felt as if he was hit by a truck.Not too far from him a Hobgoblin was standing and was looking at him.Their eyes met and he saw it,he saw how the Hobgoblin was looking at him,his gaze was filled with disdain and Baaz could even discern a hint of superiority, he felt his blood starting to boil.As if knowing what turmoil he was going through,the Hobgoblin grinned with a predatory smile and said:
"You feel angry,right demon,you feel it is unfair,that it should not happen,but is this not your fault?How can you be that weak?So weak that even though you've been given such a great gift by being born as a demon,you can't even use it and others are saying that demon are one of the Apex races, you bet.aaaah aaah.."On the ground,Baaz head was aching and his ears were buzzing, his vision was blurry so he could not really see the monster,but he heard it.These words struck a chord within him but it was the last words that broke the straw,and Baaz felt it ,suddenly an heavy atmosphere descended on all the goblins presents and the low leveled ones even took a step back,they were suppressed and its source came from none other than Baaz the demon.His bloodline was angry as it's supremacy was questioned.
The Hobgoblin seemed unperturbed by the changes that were occurring in Baaz as he tried to rile him up even more.
" So what if your Bloodline is acting up you are a failure through and through,you Bloodline is so impure that even us goblins have a better future than you."
While talking, a strange energy subtly came out of him and went to Baaz and unknowingly, Baaz foud himself becoming so angry that he could not take it anymore and he charged and punched with all his strength.Smiling deviously, the Hobgoblin also punched and their fists met midway.
Crraaack, that was the sound of his bone cracking under the force that the Hobgoblin displayed.It was his second time having his hand being broken.An intense pain assaulted him as he was flung back on the ground.
"Resistance is futile demon,you are far too weak and you can't even beat me,How will you resist the chief?
"Fuck you"that was all Baaz said as he was wrestling with the pain,still carefully watching the movement of the monster.Suddenly the air around the Hobgoblin changed and even the high leveled goblins started sweating and Baaz,he wasn't even breathing as he felt an heavy feeling of suppression arose from his bloodline,all his instincts said to him was that he was dead.
With the blink of an eye,the Hobgoblin was already in front of him and he was lifted from the ground and the goblin mumbled some words that only he could hear:
"He told me to bring you but he didn't say you needed to be healthy".
"What the ..." craaackkk, his other hand was snapped by the hobgoblin and Baaz blacked out.He was rapidly woken up by the goblin as he broke his left foot.
An ungodly amount of pain clouded his mind and for the first time in a while Baaz cried.It was not like when he was hit by the goblin spear where he cried in pain,no he whimped like a dog and tears were falling out of his eyes and his eyes changed for a brief ten seconds they started glowing brightly and something birth in them.That was hate,something that caught by the Hobgoblin made him smile even more.
" Yes,cry,cry like the weakling that you are" he spate on him and laughed out loud.
"I will fucking kill you,I swear on my life I will kill you all" said Baaz
" What will you do?you are powerless."He threw Baaz on the ground,Baaz found himself on the tip of the river.He stood up and looked at all the goblins and started laughing hysterically and he finally said:
" I will come for you ,I will hunt you down and kill all the goblins,I will erase your race from this forest as one day they will search for you and you will be nowhere to be found" He then turned around and jumped in,leaving everybody confused.
After seeing the demon escaping ,the goblins turned towards the Hobgoblin,from behind the trees,three Hobgoblins appeared,respectfully keeping a safe distance one of them was the copy of the Hobgoblin that was beating Baaz.It was the vice chieftain,he approached his Hobgoblin twin who was standing with his back to them still watching where the demon has jumped.The three Hobgoblins kneeled and the vice chieftain that was at the front said:
" We did as you instructed sir us,please keep your words." Suddenly,the Hobgoblin that fought Baaz started trembling and as if a veil was suddenly lifted they saw him changing.He was still five foot but his body started to expand,six legs sprouted from his back and his color changed from his green color to a black one,two more pairs of eyes appeared on his face and his eyes became red,the air around him changed, he laughed with a raspy voice:
" ahh,ahh,ahhh,this inferior Demon is quite something, I really enjoyed toying with him".
