At first,Baaz was struggling to recognize the feeling that took control of him,but with a little bit of thought he came to realize that his instincts of self preservation were at play. The moment he realized that he could die and was losing consciousness, something was set free.Something primal, something that only wanted one thing:"survive".Unbeknownst to him,all his potential was channeled into this task as he suddenly felt his mind become clearer and multiple calculations started in his brain and he suddenly felt his view of the situation catapult to another angle. The remaining goblin was clearly destabilized, he was stealing glances at the corpse of his kin. Seizing the opportunity,he ran to him and started attacking, using claws that he didn't know he had.Surprised, the goblin was hit by the mad rush and flew off its feet into the trees behind it, losing its balance, and Baaz was there. He used his already broken hand to pin it to the ground and the other to pummel it, channeling the entirety of his newfound strength into driving his claws into the goblin stomach repeatedly and as hard as he possibly could.
Bones cracked and groaned some his, some the goblin. His every punch felt heavy, his every strike devastating. The goblin resisted for a while before going still, but Baaz stricked a couple more times before stopping.
Absentmindedly, he realized he was out of breath, in terrible pain, and several parts of his body felt wrong. His brain calculated everything with cruel precision. It reviewed his current situation, then scanned his environment for solutions.
He was stable, and the enemy was dead. He was fine.
A single fluttering sense of relief filled Baaz's heart, and his battle mode receded as quickly as it had come. He was left shivering, cold, and breathless. The pain came in warm waves, and kneeling as he was, he failed to stifle a cry as his leg rubbed against the ground.
FUCK!
What the hell just happened?
The wretched sight of the goblins corpses entered his vision, and suddenly, he realized what he had done. He bent to the side and retched on the stone, the hot biles burn accompanying the ones on his limbs and chest.
He cried.

It took Baaz some time to regain himself. The pain receded, and the blood stopped flowing. Baaz was left sitting on a rock, holding his head between his palms and trying not to stare at the mangled goblins corpses.
He hated what he had done. No he wasn't sure what he felt. Trying to get his thoughts in order was futile.
So many things had happened, and in such a short timeframe: He found himself in a hostile environment,an unknown world, monsters had appeared, magic everywhere, a Flora that was defying the norm, goblins tried to kill him, and he fought them to death instead
However, the version of himself he saw That wasn't easy to swallow.
Those feelings had saved him, but they had come from somewhere deep inside him, a place he couldnt even perceive. They had flooded him out of nowhere, and he had no control as they were part of him, and at the same time, they weren't.
It wasnt a bad thing he had survived, after all but he had never before realized how deep the lightless region inside him was. He knew it was there but he didn't know how much control it could have over him.
Were those things part of him, or dark passengers?
Baaz did not know. His mind had been ravaged by an unknown companion, and he could still feel its effects. Even as he sat here, away from immediate danger, he remained aware that more goblins could show up at any moment and he really will not be able to do defend himself in his current state. He had to move and he had to do it now, cause he was sure that the scent of all this blood will caught the nose of some predators and he will be easily killed if he stayed here. So he got moving, pushing his ragged body with his last reserves of energy, unaware of the six pairs of eyes watching him in the dark.Still having no idea where he was going he luckily took a path that was avoided by other monsters as this was one of the entries to go deeper into the forest.

Fifty miles away from the place where Baaz fought the goblins,a mountain could be seen. And at its base a big cave was dug out,its entrance was about 80 meters of diameter. But even though the entrance was so large,it was very hard to find cause it was surrounded by such a rich vegetation that if you didn't know you would not be able to find it.Outside of the entrance you could see twenty goblins guarding the place. As they were standing there their attention was suddenly caught by the rustling sounds of the leaves. They prepared themselves for whatever was coming. Two goblins came out of the dense forest, they were panting as they had ran till here and before even catching their breath they said:".chieeek, ... Captain, report", they rapidly let them pass and the two goblins made way to their captain.
Goblins were low ranking monsters and at the bottom on the food chain and usually would have one evolution which is at level 10 and they would cape at level 25.But as you know it every once in a while they would have special beings. They were what you could consider as the elite fighters of the goblin race.Beings who represented a stage that most of goblins could only dream of. These beings were known as Hobgoblins. It was to such being those two goblins were going to report to. The two goblins having been given access to the cave followed a corridor that was branched to many places, but knowing the route they decisively went past them and followed the narrow corridor and found one of the less crude shaped rooms. In front of it two goblins were found, those were the veteran warriors, warriors who whilst not having enough talent to cross the barrier were still standing at the cusp of evolution, they were some of the best fighters amongst them. They spoke to the two veterans and one of them went in,five minutes later the veteran goblin went out and they were allowed to enter.
