Vanessa: "Wade, you know this newcomer? Aren't you going to introduce him to everyone? Oh, by the way, @Wesley, I'm Wade's wife. It's nice to see Wade finally making some friends."

Wesley was taken aback upon seeing Vanessa's name. Wade's wife was also named Vanessa? And it happened to be the exact same name as his boss's fiancée? What a strange coincidence.

Wesley: "Hello, Mrs. Vanessa. My name is Wesley. I'm... a partner of Mr. Wade's. We had a very productive collaboration recently, and it's an honor to meet you."

Vanessa: "Since you two are friends and both Devil Fruit users, you should keep in touch more often!"

Vanessa genuinely hoped her eccentric husband would make more friends. She had always known what Wade did for a living. After all, she was present during that battle two years ago, so Wade couldn't hide it even if he tried. Vanessa could guess the nature of the "collaboration" Wesley mentioned, but despite that, she didn't want Wade to be a permanent lone wolf.

Wade Wilson: "Well, since the wife has spoken, I guess I'll reluctantly consider you a friend, Wesley. Hit me up if you've got work in the future. You know how reliable I am."

Wesley: "Absolutely, Mr. Wade. After all, your skills are top-notch in the industry!"

Vanessa: "By the way, Wesley, what kind of Devil Fruit did you buy? Would you mind sharing with the group if it's not too much trouble?"

Wesley hesitated. He purchased the Bullet-Bullet Fruit, which was not as noble-sounding as Helen Cho's Heal-Heal Fruit or Wade's Slip-Slip Fruit. But after considering it, Wesley decided to be honest. After all, if he intended to be part of this circle of Devil Fruit users, it wouldn't do to be secretive about something as fundamental as his fruit choice.

Wesley: "Mrs. Vanessa, I bought the Bullet-Bullet Fruit. I live in a rather chaotic environment, so I wanted to enhance my self-defense capabilities."

Wade Wilson: "The Bullet-Bullet Fruit? That's the one that lets you create bullets, right? So, you don't need to carry weapons anymore—you *are* the weapon!"

Wade Wilson: "Wow, Wesley, you might as well change careers. This ability is tailor-made for assassination!"

Imagine this: after going through rigorous security checks and ensuring Wesley isn't carrying any weapons, the target finally meets him with a sense of relief—only for Wesley to suddenly fire a bullet from his body, taking them out.

Thrilling, isn't it? Wesley would undoubtedly be crowned the ultimate rookie assassin!

Bullet-Bullet Fruit? Helen Cho couldn't help but frown slightly, forming a basic judgment about Wesley. To her, the excuse of self-defense didn't hold water; Wesley's purchase of the Bullet-Bullet Fruit indicated a certain inclination in his behavior patterns. With this in mind, Helen already had a rough idea of how to deal with Wesley in the future.

Wesley: "You're joking, Mr. Wade. As I said, I bought this fruit purely for self-defense."

Wesley: "Alright, everyone, it's been great meeting you all, but I have some matters to attend to. Please excuse me!"

With that, Wesley exited the group chat.

"Mr. Shopkeeper, today has been truly eye-opening. The Devil Fruit has made me see the world in a whole new light," Wesley said sincerely to Rosh. "I'll take my leave now, but I'll definitely be back."

"You're always welcome!" Rosh waved him off with a smile.

"Goodbye, Mr. Shopkeeper!" Wesley respectfully bid Rosh farewell before leaving the Devil Fruit store.

After getting into his car in the parking lot, Wesley immediately dialed a number.

"Wesley, how did it go?" Kingpin's voice came through the receiver.

"Boss, it's real! The Devil Fruit is real!" Wesley's voice was still tinged with excitement. "I've confirmed it myself!"

"Something that extraordinary actually exists?" Kingpin's voice was filled with disbelief.

"It's real, boss! I ate a Bullet-Bullet Fruit, and I can actually fire bullets from my body now! I'm on my way back—you'll see for yourself soon."

"Wesley, I'm looking forward to it!"

With that, the call ended. Wasting no time, Wesley sped back to Hell's Kitchen, eager to demonstrate his new powers.

He arrived at Kingpin's office with a face full of excitement.

"Tell Shin that I only provide the docks and ships, but I'm not responsible for security! If their goods are compromised, it's their problem, not mine!" Kingpin was scolding two suited men in his office, clearly in a foul mood.

But upon seeing Wesley, Kingpin's expression softened somewhat. He waved the two men away. "You're dismissed."

The two men respectfully bowed to Kingpin before leaving.

"Is it more trouble from Shin?" Wesley frowned slightly. Recently, Kingpin had formed a temporary alliance with Madame Gao, Shin, Leland Owlsley, and the Russian brothers to control Hell's Kitchen, but it hadn't been going smoothly. Leland and the Russian brothers were manageable, but Madame Gao and Shin proved to be particularly difficult, with Shin especially posing a significant challenge and becoming a major thorn in Kingpin's side.

"Same old issues—Shin's causing trouble again." Kingpin shook his head, exasperated, then looked at Wesley with anticipation. "Wesley, I hope you've brought some good news to lift my spirits."

"Boss, I believe you're in for a big surprise." Wesley grinned, scanning the room before picking up a coffee mug from Kingpin's desk.

"Apologies in advance for the mug, but..." Wesley extended his finger, aiming at the mug. With a thought, he activated his ability.

*Bang!*

*Crash!*

The coffee mug shattered into pieces as a bullet fired from Wesley's finger, embedding itself in Kingpin's desk.

"Incredible! Truly incredible!" Kingpin's eyes widened in amazement, his face reflecting the same astonishment he had when he saw Helen Cho heal Vanessa.

"The Devil Fruit... it's real! This miraculous thing actually exists!"

A moment later, Kingpin finally murmured, "This is real."

At that moment, all doubts vanished from his mind.
