The Charles Patterson throwing was taken quickly, James finding Lance Edwards (Charles Patterson central Midfielder) in a small pocket of space. Lance took a few touches before attempting a cross field pass to Alexis who had a bit of space in front of him.
Unfortunately, Lance's pass was intercepted by a towering header from Christopher Clarke (Riverside Prep left back). Christopher headed the ball a small distance in front of it and managed to get there before Archie who ran towards the loose ball. With his first touch, he played a pass forward to Oliver Owen (Riveride Prep left midfielder).
Oliver and James ran towards the ball at full speed, but Oliver got there just before James, pushing the ball forward just before he got there. Of course, for James changing the trajectory of his run wasn't a small affair after charging at the ball so by the time he faced where Oliver was running, there was a bit of distance between the both of them.
