[Khane's POV]
I wasn't particularly interested in auctions, but this time was different. Two days ago, someone informed me about an auction involving a woman. I heard she was a collateral now in Bryan's possession. Normally, I'd send my assistant to handle things like this, but today I decided to go myself. I'm not sure what came over me. Suddenly, I felt compelled to be among those lustful people.
As I sat in thought, I sensed a presence near me, something I deeply desired. It was a feeling that I'd find someone who would become my partner. Whether from the guests attending or perhaps even the woman being auctioned, I wasn't sure. But at the very least, I needed to be near her, to catch the scent of her body, and rely on my instincts like a hunter.
I glanced at my phone, which displayed pictures of the women to be auctioned. However, I wasn't interested in looking at them now. What I wanted was to go there and breathe in her scent directly.
