'You,you came late today' Joe fussed and Bernard was angry.
"I actually met her on my way here,her bus got stuck in traffic". Bernard lied defensively and Anne was shocked cos she didn't even take a bus,she actually woke up late.
"By the way,what is he doin here?and who's he?"Anne asked.
He's Leonard and he'll be working here as from today..now hurry along,the customers would soon be here,Joe said as he hurriedly left to set the tables
Anne didn't say y word to Bernard as she just left to a room at a far end. Bernard opened the same door only to see dat Anne was about pulling off her dress. "I'm sorry". Bernard immediately shut the door and gave out a deep sigh while patiently waiting for her to come out.
When Anne finally came out,she came face to face with him and ignored him as she walked out with a changed dress to serve the first set of customers
Bernard didn't change his dress,he only put on a n apron over it..
As he came to start serving,a lot of customers were attracted to him especially the young ladies who were giggling uncontrollable to see him.Anne felt impressed but,she still chose not to talk or show it in her facial expression. She recognized him as the guy who came the previous day and she recalled what he had said"I'll be back"
"So,was he here cos of her",she thought suspiciously.He didn't look lyk someone in need of money
" Coffee?"Bernard called making her jolt back to reality.
Huh??oh yes coffee...she said almost stammering.How many????
" what do u think?"he asked staring at her with a smile and she immediately looked away and placed some cups on his tray.
"Thank u"he said as he picked up the tray and left. Joe felt really satisfied with the young man and he swore to himself to keep him and open up a bigger shop if he continued dis way. The man is a real gold!
Some of the female customers who came didn't come cos of coffee but to see the handsome lad with coffee as their excuse.
Bernard seemed angry and irritated with the way those crazy ladies were asking for his no and openly ogling about him.....
And then once,when there was only a lady remaining,Bernard hoped for her to leave and she left reluctantly.
"I have to go now,Anne pls deposit to the bank today",Joe said as gave Anne the pay for herself and the guy. Then,he left
It was just some minutes to 4 and Bernard felt happy to be left alone with Anne
Bernard had never stood so long before and he felt f***** tired. I can tell u have never such a job in ur whole existence. Anne spoke up for the first time..
"is it dat obvious "
Anne nodded in the positive
I feel more hungry Dan usual,he said ."Well,u can share my lunch with me,she offered as she brought out a flask"
"u cooked it urself"??
"Yes",she answered.
She opened the flask to expose a well flavoured dish of steak and kidney pie.
Anne divided it and gave Bernard his own on a plate,a larger part of the meal.
Bernard grabbed the plate immediately and started eating without a word and Anne tried to hold back her smile.
Despite the fact the guy's portion was more,he was done quickly and he looked unsatisfied and hungrily at Anne.
What??;: I don't have more.....she said innocently and Bernard stared at her right hand which still had the last kidney pie,he stood up and ate it all from her hand using his mouth and Anne was shocked that she almost screamed..
And then, Bernard placed his mouth on her fingers licking them slowly and Anne finally withdrew her hand in shock as Bernard sat down again staring at her with a grin..
A.r.e....u.....m.a.d?w.h.y.....d.i.d.....u....d.o....d.a.t?!she stammered.

First u are my last pie from my hand directly with ur mouth and then u licked my fingers,Anne said embarrassed as she talked almost in whispers..
"Well,I was still hungry and I thought eating it directly from ur hand would be easier and ur fingers still had the drops of the pie,I had to lick it as well "he said without remorse.....
You're crazy.....Anne said earning her a chuckle from Bernard.
'Probably next time..I might eat it directly from ur lips and then u know what happens next'. Bernard said and Anne placed her hands over her ears as the young man bursted into a hearthy laughter 😂😂😂😂
