While the two massive beings continued their brutal fight, the rest of the Suicide Squad wasn't standing still either. They had banded together, battling against the never-ending horde of monsters. Wave after wave, the creatures seemed limitless. Despite killing one group, another would soon take its place, keeping the squad from moving very far from their original spot.
Deadshot had run out of bullets and now wielded an iron rod he found somewhere, swinging it like a bat. Killer Croc was smashing monsters with his bare hands in a feral display of strength. Katana's sword danced through the air, slicing through enemy after enemy with deadly precision. Rick Flag and Amanda Waller were in the center of the fray, barely surviving amid the chaos.
"They're still alive? Damn, they've got some serious survival instincts," Su Sheng noted with mild admiration. He had thrown them into the monster horde, fully expecting them to be overwhelmed in seconds. But somehow, against all odds, they were still hanging on.
Captain Boomerang, however, was nowhere to be seen. Su Sheng assumed he had likely been among the fallen.
Boom!
A flash of brilliant light caught Su Sheng's attention. Turning his head, he saw the witch's brother and Diablo, locked in a fierce clash of energy. Both had unleashed their full power, causing the ground to quake and obliterating the monsters around them in an instant.
"Not bad, but nothing too special," Su Sheng remarked as he observed the raw energy of Diablo's demon form. "Eh, witches are more fun."
With a mischievous grin, Su Sheng teleported beside the witch, who had already prepared for his arrival. A bright magical barrier surrounded her, and she quickly retreated, sending a fresh wave of monsters toward him.
"Kill him!" she commanded coldly.
"Who are you trying to kill?"
Before the words even finished leaving her lips, Su Sheng was standing directly in front of her. The witch's eyes widened in shock as she glanced behind him. The monsters were still advancing, but Su Sheng had somehow bypassed them entirely.
"How… how are you…?" the witch stammered, horror-stricken.
Su Sheng raised a finger slowly. "Boom."
Boom!
Behind him, the monsters exploded simultaneously, their dense formation amplifying the devastation. The explosion caught the attention of everyone on the battlefield, who instinctively paused to witness the carnage.
The witch's eyes were wide with fear as Su Sheng extended his finger toward her magical barrier.
What is he going to do? she thought, panic setting in. Desperate, she tried to teleport away, but she was too slow.
As soon as his finger touched the barrier, the witch felt her magic drain away instantly. The barrier vanished, and before she could react, Su Sheng tapped her lightly on the shoulder.
"No!"
The witch screamed, vanishing into the air in a frantic teleport.
"Boom."
With a smirk, Su Sheng muttered the word again. High above the battlefield, the witch exploded, her body consumed in a brilliant burst of fire. A figure fell from the explosion, tumbling rapidly toward the ground.
"Little sister!"
Her brother's grief-filled roar echoed as he watched her fall. In a fit of rage, he doubled his energy output, overwhelming Diablo with a single, devastating attack.
Boom!
Diablo was flung backward, crashing through several cars before coming to a stop. His body, still in its fiery form, had a gaping hole burned through it.
Enraged, the witch's brother charged at Su Sheng like a massive, unstoppable force. His fiery energy roared, but Su Sheng raised his hand casually, catching the attack with his palm. Flames crackled and hissed, but Su Sheng's hand remained unharmed.
A chilling frost began to spread from Su Sheng's palm, rapidly freezing the flame and creeping toward the witch's brother.
Within moments, the once fiery demon had been transformed into an ice sculpture.
"Let me! Let me do it!" Harley Quinn's voice rang out as she rushed over, a baseball bat in hand.
She bounded up to the frozen demon, grinning from ear to ear. With a powerful leap, Harley stepped on the demon's leg, launching herself into the air. Mid-jump, she swung her bat with all her might, smashing it directly into the demon's head.
Boom!
With one strike, the demon's head shattered into pieces. Harley spun gracefully in the air, landing lightly on the ground as the demon's body cracked and crumbled to dust.
"Yeah!" Harley cheered, jumping up and down in excitement, as if she had just won a championship.
Following her triumphant shout, the remaining monsters around the battlefield collapsed, their bodies freezing in place before falling lifeless to the ground.
The members of the Suicide Squad breathed a collective sigh of relief, glancing at Su Sheng with bewildered expressions. The difference between him and everyone else was overwhelming.
"Is he alright?" Deadshot asked, motioning toward Diablo, who had reverted back to his human form. His wounds, however, hadn't healed. The squad rushed to his side, but their calls went unanswered.
Meanwhile, Harley Quinn casually walked over to where the witch had fallen after the explosion. A large crater had formed in the ground, and the witch lay there, twitching slightly.
"Huh, still alive?" Harley muttered, raising her bat to finish the job.
"Wait, no, it's me… June Moone… not her…" the witch's voice was weak, pleading.
"She's changed back? Where'd the witch go?" Su Sheng asked as he approached.
June shook her head. "I… I don't know. I can't feel her anymore."
"What a shame," Harley pouted, lowering her bat. "I really wanted to knock her out."
Su Sheng chuckled. "You'll get your chance. We'll go deal with the Parallax next."
Harley's eyes lit up. "Really? Okay, okay! I'm in!"
As Su Sheng prepared to leave, a sudden realization hit Harley. "Wait! I have one more thing to do!"
Before Su Sheng could ask, Harley dashed toward Amanda Waller, who was still standing nearby.
"Hiya!" Harley greeted cheerfully, pulling out a uniquely designed gun from inside her coat.
It was the gun of Love and Hate.
"Goodbye!" Harley shouted gleefully, raising the gun and firing at Amanda Waller.
Boom!
The gunshot echoed, and Amanda Waller collapsed to the ground.
