A message from Earth-One? Could it be from Laura? Su Sheng pondered this as he accessed the message through his thought link with the bracelet.
Indigo's abilities really shone in a modern, networked environment, making her an invaluable asset.
"Harrison ran off to Earth-One? The Flash and the Black Siren have been captured a few times? Thea returned to Starling City, and the Birds of Prey have contacted her several times? So much has happened in such a short time," Su Sheng mused with a chuckle. However, he had no intention of returning just yet.
Harrison Wells had already created a device capable of traveling between parallel universes when he defeated Zoom. With his intellect, it wouldn't take long for him to figure out that Su Sheng had taken Jesse. So it wasn't surprising that he ventured to Earth-One. But for now, Su Sheng was enjoying his time in this world and didn't plan on returning. He simply sent a message back to Laura, and that was the end of it.
"Aren't you going to go back and check things out?" Indigo asked, her disappointment evident when she saw that Su Sheng had no plans to return to Earth-One.
She was eager to explore another world.
"Not right now," Su Sheng replied, his tone dismissive as he got up and headed toward the semi-enclosed swimming pool.
This world was fascinating to him, and he wasn't ready to leave.
Su Sheng took a clean, relaxing dip in the pool. Superman's recent invasion of the DEO was a clear sign that complete chaos was on the horizon. The question now was whether Supergirl would be able to defeat Superman or if he would rule the world with an iron fist.
Indigo, who had taken on her human form, joined him in the water, swimming up behind him.
"I thought you were on Supergirl's side, so why didn't you intervene at the DEO today?" Indigo asked, placing her hands on Su Sheng's shoulders and leaning in close.
"I'm on the side of whatever's fun," Su Sheng replied with a chuckle. "I do whatever seems interesting at the moment."
"Is that so? It's more fun to stir things up than to just watch," Indigo said with a mischievous smirk, whispering in his ear. "Superman's recent actions will likely keep the Justice League quiet for a while, leading to a period of stability on his side. If you're looking for excitement, why not speed things up?"
Intrigued, Su Sheng turned to face Indigo, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Go on."
"Let Superman initiate a Great Purge," Indigo suggested. "That will force Supergirl and her allies to act quickly. I've been studying Rhodes Technology's research on Kryptonite, and we could accelerate that work to increase their chances. You could treat this world as your playground, altering the balance of power whenever it suits you. If you ever get bored or tired, you can end the game whenever you like."
Su Sheng grinned, giving Indigo a playful slap on her rear. "You're devious... but I like it."
Although his presence had already caused significant changes to this world, and the original plot was in shambles, waiting around wasn't appealing to him. The idea of controlling events from a god-like perspective? That sounded like a lot of fun.
Supergirl couldn't hope to defeat Superman on her own, so perhaps he needed to find Superman a real opponent?
Green Lantern? The Green Lantern Corps?
Or maybe... General Zod?
Zod was likely dead in this world, but what if Superman turned rogue and Zod returned as his equal?
Good and evil, swapping places?
"I'll wake up Astra. Then you go to Superman and get him to start the Great Purge, beginning with Metropolis," Su Sheng instructed Indigo.
"Right now?" Indigo smiled sweetly, her hand trailing down his chest.
"Go," Su Sheng said with a grin.
Indigo climbed out of the pool, her smile never fading as she returned to her original form. "Don't wake Astra just yet. Wait for my signal."
"Planning a surprise for me?" Su Sheng chuckled and nodded.
Indigo vanished back into the bracelet, just as the sound of a key turning in the door announced Jesse's return.
Jesse was surprised to see Su Sheng in the pool. "Come down," Su Sheng beckoned.
Jesse hesitated for only a moment before stripping down and joining him in the water.
As Su Sheng held her close, his hands roamed with a teasing smile. "Your father went to Earth-One to find you."
"What? Then... what should I do?" Jesse asked, her eyes wide with concern.
"I'll send you to the S.T.A.R. Labs on Earth-One to find him. Then, you and your father can return to Earth-2 and help me find someone," Su Sheng replied, his grin widening.
"Who?"
"Zod. He and Superman are both Kryptonians, and they're usually villains in most parallel worlds. But in your world, where good and evil are reversed, he might be a hero. There are a few others I'm looking for as well. I'll give you the details when you get back." Su Sheng explained. "I'll also make you a communication bracelet so we can exchange data and messages. You'll gather their intel, and I'll take care of the rest."
Jesse nodded enthusiastically.
After some playful splashing and a bit of water-based fun, Su Sheng and Jesse left the pool to rest. Su Sheng then set to work on crafting the communication bracelet. Although it sounded complex, once the core technology was in place, it was fairly straightforward. Along with the bracelet, he used nano-shrinking technology to prepare a storage box for Jesse, specifically for storing Velocity serums. Once everything was ready, he handed Jesse the information on the people he was looking for.
"Zod? Ultraman? Superwoman, Atomica? Power Ring, Grid, Sea King?" Jesse was surprised as she read through the files Su Sheng provided. She had never heard of these people before. Could they really exist in her world?
And their abilities seemed overwhelmingly powerful. Could they really be beaten?
Especially Superwoman—her real name was Lois Lane? Could she be a doppelganger of Lois Lane, who died in this world?
"Is this all?" Jesse asked, her brow furrowing in confusion.
Su Sheng's smile widened. "The Crime Syndicate. I left out a couple, but you can try to find them. I'm not sure if they exist in your world."
The Crime Syndicate—a twisted mirror of the Justice League from the comics, where good and evil were reversed.
Even an evil version of the Justice League might be more fun to watch than the current alien invasion.
