Chapter 171 - Chapter 170: Zoom

"Earth-2?" Fiora's eyes lit up with excitement. The name intrigued her—was there really another Earth? Could the opportunity Su Sheng mentioned involve rebuilding Krypton on this planet?

"Your Kryptonian civilization likely hasn't encountered the multiverse yet, and the concept of parallel worlds might still be unknown to you, right? There are many parallel universes. In one, Krypton exploded, but in another, it might not have. On Earth-One, someone might be a hero, but on Earth-Two, they could be a villain." Su Sheng explained, noting how Krypton's technological advancements hadn't ventured into this area due to a different focus.

"So, Krypton in this world…"

"I don't know, but it probably exploded." Su Sheng dashed Fiora's hopes. "I didn't come here specifically for you. I just needed to take care of some business on the way. After that, I'll take you to where you really want to go. In that world, you'll find many Kryptonians—heroes and villains alike!" Su Sheng added with a chuckle.

"Okay." Fiora took a deep breath. "What are you planning to do? I can help."

Su Sheng smiled, not committing to an answer, and turned to walk out.

Central City on Earth-Two was eerily quiet.

It felt like a ghost town. Although it appeared to be midday, there were no people, no cars, and the shops were all closed.

"What's going on?" Su Sheng was surprised. Why had things changed so drastically in such a short time?

Boom!

Suddenly, Fiora flew into the air, scanning the city. After a moment, she descended and pointed ahead. "There's a large group of people gathered in that building. Some of them seem to have special abilities. The one leading them in a dark uniform… I think his name is…"

Fiora listened carefully. "Zoom!"

"Is Zoom gathering people to attack Earth-One? Is he… looking for you?"

Fiora looked at Su Sheng.

"What a coincidence! I came here to find him too," Su Sheng said with a light chuckle.

"Zoom captured a man named Harrison Wells and forced him to work on a device to open a portal between the two universes. It seems he also took his daughter."

"Harrison Wells got captured again?" Su Sheng frowned. "Didn't they say they were going to Atlantis? And Zoom… he's taken over Central City and assembled a gang of villains in such a short time?"

Speaking of Jesse, Su Sheng thought she might be useful. He could give her a serum to enhance her Speed Force energy and maybe even change its color.

"Let's rescue Harrison Wells' daughter first, then we'll deal with Zoom."

"I'll go," Fiora volunteered.

"You?"

Fiora nodded, eager to get to the world Su Sheng had mentioned.

"Alright, her name is Jesse." Su Sheng agreed casually, and Fiora took off with a bang.

At the Central City Police Department, the building was now completely occupied by villains. The hall was filled with criminals from across Central City. On the second floor, Zoom, clad in his dark uniform, stood with blue lightning crackling around him. His black mask gave him a menacing appearance.

Zoom surveyed the room, his voice hoarse and grating. "Are you ready? We're going to another Earth, and your task is to hunt down the speedsters!"

A chorus of excited shouts erupted from below.

These villains hadn't all been coerced by Zoom—many had joined willingly. The prospect of wreaking havoc on another world was an enticing opportunity for them. As Zoom's words echoed through the room, the crowd grew more frenzied.

A sneer formed under Zoom's mask as he looked at the excited crowd.

"Su Sheng…"

He muttered the name darkly.

Su Sheng wasn't just a speedster; he had killed Zoom's alter ego, The Flash, and rescued Jesse. For all these reasons, Zoom had no intention of letting him go. After Su Sheng left Earth-2, Zoom had quickly recaptured Harrison Wells and Jesse, forcing Wells to continue his work on the portal between worlds. Now, Zoom was ready to expand his ambitions beyond this world—he wanted to conquer another, and he wanted Su Sheng's speed!

Growing more excited, Zoom turned to Harrison Wells. "Tell me, are you ready?"

Harrison Wells nodded frantically.

"Then…" Zoom was about to give the order to invade Earth-One when a loud crash interrupted him.

The roof of the police station suddenly caved in, forcing Zoom to dash to the side.

As debris rained down, Su Sheng appeared.

"You!"

Zoom's voice dripped with malice. "I was just about to come to your world to find you. But it's even better that you came here!"

"I'm here to beat you, and then I'll conquer and destroy your world," Zoom declared arrogantly as he activated his Speed Force. Blue lightning surged around him as he charged directly at Su Sheng.

Time seemed to stand still.

Zoom was incredibly fast—at least four or five times faster than The Flash, and perhaps even faster than Su Sheng in his normal state. In the blink of an eye—no, faster than a blink—Zoom was in front of Su Sheng, his hand reaching for Su Sheng's throat, a sinister smile on his lips.

"Your speed belongs to me!" Zoom shouted, his hand inches from Su Sheng's neck.

Whoosh!

Yellow lightning flared as Su Sheng suddenly increased his speed tenfold. Just as Zoom's fingertips were about to touch him, Su Sheng dodged and circled behind him, driving a high-speed hand chop directly into Zoom's back, piercing his heart.

Swish!

Time seemed to resume its normal pace, and the crowd gasped as they saw the two speedsters had switched positions.

Zoom's arm slowly dropped as he looked down at his heart. Turning around, he stared at Su Sheng in disbelief. "No… it's impossible… how could you…"

"Be so fast…"

With those words, Zoom collapsed to the ground. Blue lightning crackled over his body as he began to disintegrate into ash.

Su Sheng activated his Speed Force slightly.

Blue lightning flashed instantly.
