Chapter 66 - Chapter 66: The Sea, You Are All Water!

Today was an unimaginable day for Riley.

She didn't know who Su Sheng truly was or what the future would hold, but she knew one thing for certain: her destiny had completely changed. She knew the man in front of her was her master now, and she knew she had to please him if she wanted a better future for herself.

Watching Su Sheng lie on the bed, Riley slowly began to undress.

Piece by piece.

The garments fell to the floor.

Riley walked over to the bedside, lay down next to him, and kissed him. She was inexperienced but eager, like a budding flower gradually revealing its charm. As Su Sheng watched her try to please him, almost instinctively, he became intrigued to see how far she could go.

Riley was smart, or perhaps this was simply a natural gift for women.

She observed Su Sheng's reactions, analyzing what he liked, what he didn't like, and what he desired more of...

And she did everything thoroughly, so much so that Su Sheng found himself content to simply watch without having to take the initiative.

Every flower has its unique charm, and every wave brings a different thrill.

Riley was serious about surfing these waves.

After what seemed like an eternity, Su Sheng held Riley in his arms, smiling. "Maybe you should change your name to 'The Sea' from now on."

"The sea? Why?" Riley asked lazily, her green eyes filled with curiosity.

"Because, like the sea… you're all water!" Su Sheng teased.

Riley blushed slightly and quickly changed the subject. "Diana… is she your pillow too?"

"If she were, by the time I think of you, you'd have already been through so many battles that all you'd have left would be your skills," Su Sheng replied with a smirk, adjusting to a more comfortable position to hold her as he drifted off to sleep.

The night passed in silence.

The next morning, Su Sheng and Riley emerged from the room. As soon as they stepped out, they saw Diana sitting in a chair, looking like she hadn't slept all night. As soon as she saw Su Sheng, Diana rushed up to him. "I need to talk to you."

"What's up?" Su Sheng asked casually.

"I… I heard some noises last night," Diana hesitated.

Riley's face turned bright red. "I-I'm going to see if there's anything to eat," she stammered before quickly fleeing the scene.

Su Sheng shrugged. "That's what you wanted to talk about? Seems like the Disciple's soundproofing isn't great."

"No," Diana frowned and shook her head. "I'm not talking about you. I heard Athena's voice."

"You're Wonder Woman, not a Saint Seiya."

"What's a Saint Seiya?" Diana asked, confused. "I'm serious. I heard Athena's voice. She told me that a disaster that would destroy the gods had been born and that I should go to Ares."

"You didn't hear anything?" she asked, knowing that Su Sheng also possessed divine power.

Su Sheng thought about it for a moment and then shook his head. "Maybe the signal was weak?"

Diana huffed in frustration. "I think the disaster Athena mentioned is Ares, and I want to find him."

"Alright, when I figure out how to time travel, I'll take you to Ares," Su Sheng said nonchalantly. To him, as long as something was exciting and interesting, it was worth doing.

He sat in the pilot's seat and began studying the controls one by one. After several attempts, he finally found the time-travel function in the operating system.

"Haha, found it!"

"1917, Disciple, go!"

Su Sheng shouted excitedly, ignoring Diana and Riley as they stumbled around, and activated the Disciple's time jump.

Whoosh!

The sky lit up, and the Disciple vanished.

1917.

World War I was drawing to a close, and the Allies had negotiated an armistice agreement.

In a non-combat zone, the gloomy sky suddenly brightened as the Disciple slowly landed in an open field nearby.

Surrounded by endless wilderness, the Disciple went into stealth mode.

"We've arrived!"

When Su Sheng turned around, he saw Diana leaning against the wall and Riley lying on the ground, groaning that she couldn't see straight anymore.

"The side effects of time travel. It'll get better after a few more trips," Su Sheng said casually to Riley.

"Time travel?" Riley muttered in shock.

"Where's Ares?" Diana asked Su Sheng.

Su Sheng chuckled lightly. "Don't worry. I'll take you to Ares later."

The side effects of time travel didn't last long for Riley. Two hours later, Su Sheng brought Diana and Riley into the city.

The streets were bustling, and the crowd was lively.

For Diana and Riley, everything was new.

Diana had never been to the human world before, and for Riley? She had just been in 1871, and now she was 46 years into the future. She didn't even know how to process the feeling.

Along the way, the trio attracted a lot of attention. Suddenly, Diana stopped and held her head.

"Still feeling those side effects?" Su Sheng quipped.

"It's Athena," Diana whispered.

She was hearing Athena's voice again.

This time, the voice was clearer than before, as if Athena had used some method to directly transmit her words into Diana's mind. Diana tried to communicate, but it didn't work. All she could do was listen to Athena's voice repeating over and over in her mind.

"The disaster that destroyed the gods was born. Go to Ares."

"Is she okay?" Riley asked Su Sheng in a low voice, concerned.

"She'll be fine," Su Sheng smiled, then suddenly said, "I'm going to buy some oranges. Just stay here and don't move."

"Huh? Oh, okay," Riley replied nervously as she watched him walk away, standing anxiously by Diana's side.

Athena's voice gradually faded from Diana's mind. She looked at Riley. "Where did he go?"

"He said he's going to buy some oranges and told us to stay here."

Diana frowned but nodded.

About twenty minutes later, Su Sheng casually strolled back from a distance.

"Is that… an orange?"

Diana and Riley were puzzled when they saw Su Sheng holding two black felt coats in his hands. They might not have known exactly what an orange was, but they knew these were clothes.

He handed them each a coat and smiled. "I just discovered something interesting."

"What's so interesting?" Diana asked, while Riley instinctively slipped into her new role as his eager companion.

"I saw Wonder Woman!"
