...

The cool moonlight bathed the beach, painting the white sand a silvery hue.

Waves crashed against the shore, the *shush, shush* echoing across the silent island. But another sound, the sound of ragged breathing, resonated even louder, mingling with the rhythm of the ocean…

It had been two hours since Haru had shifted from Takamagahara, the Heavenly Plane of the Gods, to this small island…

A final, mournful cry pierced the air, and then, only the sound of the waves remained.

Haru gently patted Sita's smooth back, a playful glint in his eyes. "Satisfied? How does revenge feel?"

Sita sat up, her delicate face flushed, and ran her fingers through her flax-colored hair, which shimmered in the moonlight. Haru's reflection danced in her lapis lazuli eyes.

Puffing out her cheeks, she said, "Not good at all. I feel like I've lost everything, yet my heart is strangely joyful. You really are far more wicked than the prince…"

Haru reached out and tugged at the corner of Sita's mouth, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. "Trying to deny everything after I've had my way with you?"

Sita swatted his hand away, her eyes filled with worry. She gently caressed Haru's cheek. "Are you really confident you can defeat the prince? With all due respect, he has been defeated countless times, but he always survives. Countless Demon Kings from past eras have been worn down by his immortality. Are you certain you can win?"

Haru's eyes narrowed slightly as he looked at Sita's worried face. His voice was serious. "I haven't actually fought him, so I can't say for certain."

"However, if I obtain Rama's complete knowledge, I have plenty of ways to make him wish he were dead."

"The kind of wishing where he wants to die but can't?" Sita's eyes lit up with ecstatic joy. If anyone hated Rama the most, it was Sita.

Originally, Sita had ruled the earth as the Primordial Earth Mother. Defeated by Rama, she was reduced to the role of his wife. Being less skilled, she could accept that. But Rama had repeatedly dragged her from the realm of myth, using her as sustenance. Even if it wasn't his intention, the resentment she felt was immense.

Therefore, after Sita was killed a thousand years ago, reverting to a divine ancestor and losing her memory, the trauma of being devoured was etched into her soul. Relying on instinct, she had hidden in the Netherworld while Rama slept.

The fact of her nominal marriage to Rama was enough for Sita to betray him with Haru.

Moreover, hearing that Haru had the means to make Rama suffer, how could Sita not be overjoyed?

After a moment of ecstatic joy, Sita's body suddenly erupted with waves of tangible black energy – the remnants of her resentment as a goddess. Her eyes were vacant as she stared at Haru, her voice devoid of emotion.

"It's a promise. Even if you can't kill the prince, you must make him suffer. No, you will make him suffer."

Haru looked at the darkened Sita with a hint of alarm and quickly nodded.

The black energy dissipated, and Sita's usual cheerful smile returned. She grasped a certain dangerous part of Haru's anatomy. "Then, allow Sita to serve you once more."

Her lapis lazuli eyes filled with allure, Sita slowly lowered her head. A moment later, she swallowed.

"Consider the initial interest paid," she whispered, wrapping her arms around Haru's neck.

Haru stared at the possessive princess, a vein throbbing in his forehead. "Give me the stone tablets first. If we wait any longer, Rama will awaken."

Sita nodded slightly and closed her eyes.

A deep rumbling shook the white sand beach. Stone tablets began to emerge from the ground.

They were square, about fifty centimeters on each side.

Their surfaces were covered in ancient Latin script, forming long passages of text. Over five hundred tablets emerged from the sand, each inscribed with compressed information.

If converted to digital text, the amount of data would exceed 1,000 terabytes.

Within Haru's soul space, the crystallized power of the Great Summoning of Hell pulsed with a dark light.

A black fissure, five meters wide and ten meters tall, appeared before Haru. On the other side, he could see the interior of the underground temple in Naples.

Athena, seated on the Hera pillar, came into view.

Sita lifted the hem of her twelve-layered kimono and performed an ancient curtsy. "Greetings, Lady Athena. Hmm? This aura… Is Mother present as well…?"

A brick-sized piece of stone suddenly broke off from the Hera pillar.

Whoosh! It struck Sita squarely on the forehead.

Tears welled up in Sita's eyes as she looked at the Hera pillar, confusion written on her face. "Mother, why?"

"You… homewrecker." A childish voice, laced with resentment, echoed from the pillar. It was Pandora.

Sita blushed, subtly wiping her mouth, but then, she deliberately licked her lips while looking at the Hera pillar, before scurrying behind Haru.

Black mist erupted from the Hera pillar, churning and boiling before coalescing into a giant black hand.

The lines on the hand were clearly visible, and one could vaguely make out the shape of a small girl's hand, magnified to an enormous scale. The giant hand shot towards Sita with lightning speed.

Athena frowned slightly and gently tapped the black mist-covered Hera pillar.

The pillar trembled, and the giant hand shuddered violently before collapsing into wisps of black mist that dissipated in the wind.

"Ahem! Ahem! Let's get this over with first! Sun Wukong, who's suppressing the Earth Veins, has already emerged."

"Guinevere should be close to finding the location as well." Haru cleared his throat, his face flushed with embarrassment. In reality, he was the one who had "wasted" the most time here.

Athena's dark eyes glanced at Haru, her gaze filled with disapproval. Haru, feeling the weight of her stare, lowered his head in a show of contrition.

Then, a satisfied smile appeared on Athena's face. "You will alter the myths etched in the Akashic Records, while I will handle the Ramayana flowing on Earth."

Pandora's childish yet serious voice echoed from the Hera pillar. "Since this involves the mythology of Vishnu, one of the Trimurti and the supreme god of order, it's safer for me to handle the alteration…"

"In that case, I'll handle the alteration. Nuwa, I'll need your divine power. Isis, you're in charge of masking our presence…"

Pandora directed the partial consciousness projections of the various Earth Mothers within the Hera pillar, assigning their tasks.

"Understood!" A chorus of voices – some gentle, some cold, some cheerful – responded from the pillar.

The five hundred or so square stone tablets scattered across the beach erupted with multicolored divine light.

The Latin script inscribed on the tablets began to distort and shift.
