It was a bright day, glowing with positive vibes. Chattering, laughter could be heard from Edwards house.
" Is she fun to be with, I mean hope she isn't a tough one " Elena asked.
" No Miss, she isn't tough but she sometimes misbehaves like the master. All brooding, you know " Amanda explained.
" Brooding? , Is Eddie brooding " she asked.
" Eddie ? " They asked in their minds.
" Maybe not too you miss but he is very brooding amd bossy towards us " Rebecca replied.
" Is that so ..... I will definitely talk to him about that " she replied.
The rest of the day was spent cheerful, as Elena did not have to go to the office due to Edwards strict orders on her health. She had to stay in doors and work form home while waiting for his mother to arrive.
" She's here " Charlotte yelled loudly alerting the lady's who were engrossed in their chatting.
" What , she's here ? " Elena asked feeling tensed again.
" Yes Miss, the master came with her " Charlotte replied.
" Oh that's better " she breathed down. But despite her efforts to hide how tensed she was, she couldn't as she was visibly shaking and sweating.
" I think I should go upstairs " she said running off.
" Welcome ma'am " Mr Klaus said.
" Its really a pleasure and it's nice meeting you again Klaus " madam Rose answered.
" Welcome ma'am " the lady's chorused.
" Oh wow son, you brought the three busy bee's. It's really nice meeting you all again " she said.
" Let's go inside mother " Edward urged.
On getting inside.
" Edward, where's your wife ? " His mother asked.
" Maybe she's asleep mother, I will just check on her " he replied.
* Inside his room *.
" Wife... " He called in getting inside the room.
" Eddie.... I .... I can't stop shaking " she said.
" Why ? .... " He paused as he could see how sweaty. " You should shower wife, I will just inform my mom. Well I will just let her know you are at sleep " he said.
" Am really sorry Eddie, I just.... I don't understand why my body is reacting this way " she said sadly.
" Don't worry wife, just showed and relax okay " he encouraged.
After ensuring she was in the bathroom and she was showering, he made a phone call.
" Hello doctor "
" Greetings Mr Edward "
" She's sweating furiously and she's shaking visibly " he said.
" I think she's tensed, and probably overwhelmed " the doctor replied.
" That means she okay right ? " He asked.
" As off now, she is sir " the doctor replied.
" Thanks " he replied ending the calling.
* Downstairs *
" Tell me Klaus, is she pretty ? " Madam Rose asked.
" Of course ma'am, she really pretty and she's as ruthless as the master himself " Mr Klaus replied.
" So Deva was right " she murmured.
" Mother, am really sorry but Elena needs to rest mom. She's a bit unwell today " Edward lied through his teeth.
" Oh my, did her condition suddenly spike ? " She asked fully aware that he was lying.
" Not really mother, it's just that she needs rest " he said.
" It's fine, am not leaving anytime soon " she replied.
" Thanks mom, you should rest too " he said.
" I will when am done talking with Mr Klaus here " she replied.
" I shall take my leave then " Edward said letting her enjoy her time.
* Inside his office *
" You don't seem upset " a voice spoke from the shadows.
" Why should I be ? " He asked.
" Madam Rose or should I say lady Rose is at your house . Isn't it enough for you to be upset ? " The voice asked.
" She's my mother remember ? " Edward replied while staring at the sky.
" You know it's your mother that made her react like that " the voice said.
" It shouldn't be that way " Edward replied worried.
" She feels what the average humans can't and you already know about that. Don't act surprised " the voice replied.
" Am not surprised, am just worried " Edward replied. " Moreover stop bothering me constantly okay " Edward said.
" That's why am your teacher. Anyway, the coming days will not be friendly. Your mother's presence here will spike alot of things, I just wonder how you would handle it " the voice said.
" What do you mean by that ? " Edward asked.
" If I told you, it wouldn't be a secret " the voice replied.
" Don't you dare keep me in suspense " Edward warned.
" Am off " the voice said vanishing into thin air.
" Ack .... So annoying " Edward murmured.
* The Next morning *
" Good morning Eddie " Elena said weakly. She couldn't understand why but she felt weaker than necessary.
" Morning wife, how are you feeling? " He asked after hearing how dull her voice sounded.
" Very weak, extremely weak " she managed to reply.
" Should we go see the doctor? " He asked.
" No.... What do you tell your mom ? "
" That's not what you should be worried about, let's just take you to the doctor " he encouraged.
" No Eddie, I will be okay as the day progresses " she said.
" Are you sure ? " He asked.
" Of course " she replied forcing a smile.
" Okay then, you should freshen up and come down for breakfast " he said.
* Downstairs *
" Good morning mother " Edward said.
" Morning my dearest " she replied happily.
" I guess you're enjoying yourself " he asked.
" Of course, by the way where's your wife ? "
" Am here ma'am " Elena answered walking down the stairs.
" There you are " madam Rose said turning to her.
The woman before Elena was nothing like she had ever seen. She was transfixed by the woman's beauty that she almost lost her balance, she .... Edward's mother's beauty was so out of the world.
She was as beautiful as a vampire if they were even real, her bright Red hair and her charcoal dark eyes gave off the feeling of her being a royal from another part of the earth. But this woman was a human.
" You're extremely pretty " madam Rose exclaimed breaking Elena form her trance.
" And so are you ma'am " Elena replied.
" Well ... Mother, meet my wife Elena, Elena my mother madam Rose ".
" It's nice meeting you once again ma'am ". Elena said.
" The pleasure is mine my dear " she replied. " But are you alright? Why are you all sweaty and shaking "madam Rose asked.
" It's nothing ma'am , am well just hungry " Elena lied.
" Well mom, we should all eat before the food gets cold " Edward urged.
" Oh that's true " she replied. " Why the way Elena, how's your company doing ? " She asked staring deeply into her eyes.
