New revelations, truths kept for ages were beginning to unfold right before her and she could do nothing but feel bad and betrayed by her family and by the man she called her husband. How much more they were hiding was still a question in her mind.
Deep down all she wanted was for them all to come out plain and reveal whatever they were hiding most especially her dearest husband Edward but they weren't doing so. Instead they kept telling her incomplete stories baked on the foundation of lies and on the bed of deceit and pain.
She believed that whatever they were hiding was all related and linked to her birthplace and her father.
' But why ? Why can't I meet my father ? ' she thought lying down on that hospital bed.
All she wanted was to know the truth. But the closer she was… was the closest to revealing Edwards identity. The beginning of her worst days were yet to come, more and more truths would unfold in the coming days.
" Wife ? " Edward noticed the painful look on her face.
" Why ? Why can't I meet my father? " She asked.
" It's for your own good love, that man… I mean Patrick, you can't meet with him " he replied.
*Laughs painfully*
" I can't meet him…huh, how ridiculous " she laughed out angrily.
" Listen love, it's best if you don't know him or even let him get the slightest idea of you being his daughter, " he explained.
" Do you know how unreasonable you sound? How pathetic and annoying you make me feel by saying all this bullshit to me " she asked.
" I understand how you feel love. I very well do, but it is for your own good " he repeated.
" Fuck all these nonsense, how good is it for me ? How the hell… Do you think you know what's good for me ? " She yelled.
" Am sorry " he apologized after realizing how hard it would be for her to ever understand what they were all trying so hard to prevent.
" Just leave okay, I want to be Left alone, " she said, turning away from him.

" Fucking leave me already Edward," she said tearful. She was overwhelmed by the numerous stories of her not being able to meet her father despite being close to him yet so far away from him.
*Outside her room*
" I guess things won't go well in the coming days?" Cedric Asked.
" How much longer before he finds out ? " Edward asked, ignoring him.
" He already knows, master, " Elias, who just arrived, replied.
" She is desperate,eager and really ready to meet him, " Edward said, leaning on the chair close to him.
" That was bound to happen, you can only dam a river for a period of time… but you know what happens when the river refuses to be damned. Cedric explained as he lifted his cigar.
*Blows*
" Moreover, how long did you and that human grandparents of her's… thought you were gonna hide her from him and her truth , her real identity ? " He asked.
" Well master, as much as I would love to stand by you, I must say that Sir Cedric here is very much correct. It was only a matter of time before he found her and before she knew her truth as well as yours, " Elias explained. " And the only question here is if you are ready for the inevitable, " he explained further.
*Breaths in*
" She is my better half and a part of me, " Edward replied.
" Oh please Edward, you're a demon and she …. She's… " Cedric could not complete his words.
" She's a what huh ? " Edward asked, feeling pissed off.
" You know what she is… and stop saying better half when you're just her MAYHEM " Cedric replied harshly.
The word mayhem struck a chord in Edward's heart invoking in her an unexplained and irritable feeling.
" I never wanted her to suffer like this, " he replied slowly.
" You know what's best for her and that's to take her where she belongs and where she should rightfully be, " Cedric explained.
" That's not a very nice suggestion, " Elias murmured.
" Huh, did you say something?" Cedric Asked.
" Well taking her to that place means separating him from his lifeline, in other words putting half his soul to Death " Elias explained.
" Oops, I tend to forget such things. But the oath can be broken right? Cedric Asked.
" Enough!!! I have had enough of your thoughtless opinions " Edward yelled, leaving them dumbfounded.
" He will never learn, " Cedric murmured, shaking his head.
*At old man John's house*
Madam Clara could be heard yelling loudly over the phone.
" You can't say anything? " She asked.
" Yes ma'am I can't say anything. We were strictly instructed not to " Kylie explained on the other side of the phone.
" Fine, who's at their place right now? " She asked tactically.
Kylie understanding what she was aiming for, answered " only the butler and the house helps ma'am "

Edward watched her sleep soundly without an inch of trouble or pain despite the looming danger, he felt comfortable seeing how peaceful she slept.
" I just want you to be happy love " he murmured, kissing her forehead.
But while he was being comforted by her peaceful appearance, she was tormented by a voice… well not necessarily a torment.
" Am coming for you baby " a masculine voice spoke to her.
" Father ? " She called out of her dream, alerting Edward.
" Wife ? " He immediately called, he couldn't believe how desperate her father was.
" Edward he's coming " she said upon opening her eyes.
" Coming? " He asked.
" Yes Eddie, he's coming " she replied crying. For some reason, she felt a certain dread creep into her heart.
" Shhh… love, " he calmed her down.
" I don't wanna leave you Eddie, I … I want to wait till I die " she cried with a loud voice.
" Who says you're gonna leave me huh ?, who's taking you away from me? " He asked angrily. He couldn't believe that what he was trying to avoid was already unfolding in tiny bits.
" I feel he's coming to take me away, " she replied, sobbing.
