Lucius could barely contain his excitement. It was his first day at school, and he had never felt this eager to attend school before.
When he reached the kitchen, his mother, Felicia, was already setting breakfast on the table. Her eyes lit up as she saw him.
She smiled warmly at the sight of him. As usual, he was dressed in a simple black shirt and trousers.
"Look at you, all ready to go," she smiled, setting down a plate in front of him. "But can't you give yourself at least a week off? You've been through so much lately. A break wouldn't hurt."
Lucius shook his head, determination etched into his face. "I'm so behind, Mom. I need to catch up. I don't have time to relax."
Felicia sighed softly, knowing how stubborn her son could be once his mind was made up. "Alright, alright. Just take care of yourself, okay? I'm sure the academy won't be an easy one."
