"Let the class begin!" Lilian announced with enthusiasm.
"Dennis Rodriguez, please come forward!" she called out again, her tone commanding and clear.
Fortunately, she chose a random student to kick things off.
"So, Darren, do you know who this is?" Lucius asked, opening his paper for Darren to see.
Darren's eyes widened in disbelief as he took in the name. "Oh God, it's Raven Steele!"
Lucius furrowed his brow, confusion evident on his face.
"Who's that? Is it a boy or a girl?" Lucius inquired, noticing Darren's stunned expression.
Darren pointed toward a girl standing off to the side, her golden-brown hair catching the light. Lucius followed his gaze, and his surprise grew as he realized the girl was indeed Raven.
"That girl? I'm actually going to be fighting a girl?" he questioned, disbelief lacing his tone.
