Lucius was taken aback, frozen for a moment as his shadow clone spoke.
But the Zyronox's agonized roar snapped him back to reality. His eyes narrowed as he glared at the monstrous beast.
"This is your end," he spat with venom, chest rising and falling with each breath, his grip tightening on the Shadow Sword.
The creature's three eyes eyes followed their every move, calculating.
His clone flanked him, both ready for the next move.
Without warning, the Zyronox lunged forward, its gaping maw revealing jagged, shifting teeth that looked like they belonged in a nightmare.
Lucius barely dodged, stepping out of the way just in time, but his clone wasn't as fortunate.
The monster's razor-sharp claws swiped through the clone, causing it to flicker but not disappear. The clone unfazed, counterattacked, slashing at the Zyronox's lower body with its shadow blade.
