At the Ade-Banjo Kingdom banquet hall.
A pretty young lady walking away from
the serving table, walking and admiring
the hall beauty, mistakenly steps on her
gown, which made her fall and spill her
drink on a young man close to her.
The man angrily insults her before she
can apologize.
"You sorceress, Bitch, can't you see?
Oh, I see, your mental health must be
deteriorizing."
As the man was about to slap her, his
hand was a sudden grab.
"Hey, hold your anger, young man.
We are in a banquet, not an arena, right
now people are watching you, you
lunatic."
Adebayo says as he releases the young
man's hand.
The young man looked around and left
the spot disgraceful.
Prince Adebayo stretched his hand
towards the young lady sitting on the
floor to lift her up.
"Thank you so much. My name is
Temitope, princess of Oyin Kingdom,"
the young lady says as she stands back
on her feet.
"Wow, what a wonderful name! My name
is Adebayo, crown prince of this
kingdom."
Prince Adebayo replied
The conversation was interrupted by an
old man on the stage.
"Good evening, everyone.
We hope the foods and drinks are to your
liking. The man clears his voice as he
continues speaking. My name is
Adebankole, and I am the minister for
foreign affairs in this kingdom.
We hope you have a pleasant dinner and
relax.
Tomorrow will be a long day.
Have a joyous day, thank you."
A round of applause was given to him as
he worked out of the stage.
The banquet comes to an end.
*****
Next day.
All the monarchies of each kingdom and
state are already sitting down, ready for
discussion.
Outside the royal hall.
Princess Temitope was walking around
the market when Prince Adebayo walked
towards her.
"My lady, why are you outside? You
might get lost."
Adebayo says as he approaches her.
"I was bored and came out for fresh air."
Princess Temitope responds.
"Ok, let me show you around, since I am
also exercising by foot."
Prince Adebayo suggested.
"Thank you very much; I will really
appreciate it."
Princess Temitope accepted.
At the hall.
"So, what you mean is that each
continent has to invest in their youth,
irrespect of their background; don't you
think that too much costs the Ayoka
kingdom?"
Emperor Ayorinde lamented as he
slammed the table.
A lot of resources will be spent, but the
advantages of it are more than the cost,
and with time, the resources can be
regained."
Emperor Oredola of the Ore-ofe kingdom
claims
"Ok, what are the plans?"
Empress Temitayo asked.
"To cut it short, after putting all our ideas
together, we came up with this plan: to
hold a continental competition.
On each continent, we register all
volunteers below the age 25 for food and
shelter.
We will be sponsored by the kingdom
and state of those continents.
At the end of the tournament, 300
participants on the list will be selected
and grouped into teams.
In each team, there will be three
participants, with one instructor from the
military,"
said Emperor Adeboye.
There was some debate, but all agreed
to hold the competition as proposed.
Time went by quickly.
When the older princess Temitope and
crown prince Adebayo chat, play, and
enjoy the scenery around the town, The
meeting comes to an end, and they
travel the next day back to their
respective places as Princess Temitope
and Crown Prince Adebayo wave at each
other.
