Tangyu dropped Zhao Xinxin and Liu Shanshan off at Zhao Xinxin's home, parked the car, and handed over the car keys.
"You can drive the car back. Just come over tomorrow morning to pick us up," said Zhao Xinxin.
"Xinxin, you forgot that I'm not working tomorrow," Tangyu said.
Zhao Xinxin then remembered that Mr. Lin had arranged for Tangyu to work as a school doctor on Monday and wouldn't be working: "Oh right, I forgot. Okay then, you can take a taxi back."
"Hmm, Xinxin, let me walk you guys upstairs," Tangyu said.
Zhao Xinxin smiled and glanced at Tangyu, "What, you still don't trust us? Or are you trying to show how considerate you are? Or—are you trying to have a reason to come up, or do you have some ulterior motive? Don't think too much, I won't be asking you to stay over."
"Cough, how could that be, Xinxin? I'm not that kind of person. Besides, it's not like I've never been to your place. I just want to make sure you guys get home safely," Tangyu explained.
