Ye Wutian didn't chase after her. He looked dejectedly at Wu Ting's departing figure and sighed helplessly. Besides sympathy, he didn't know what else he could offer this woman.
Just as Ye Wutian was staring blankly in the direction Wu Ting had left, Lü Wenjie approached respectfully and called out, "Brother Tian."
Ye Wutian snapped back to reality, turned his head, and was slightly surprised to see Lü Wenjie.
"What a coincidence," Ye Wutian said with a smile.
"Yes, Brother Tian, are you here to sing karaoke too?" Lü Wenjie asked tentatively, aware that the man before him was no longer the med school big shot he used to be and now out of his league.
"Hmm!" Ye Wutian nodded in affirmation, then glanced at the three women behind Lü Wenjie and teased, "What, you dumped Hong Yan?"
"Brother Tian, you've got it wrong. This lady is Meng Chao's sister, and the other two are her classmates," Lü Wenjie explained, pointing at the tall girl.
