"Yueyue, what does it look like to be tugging and pulling with a man on the street like this!" Mother Lin walked up with a displeased face.
Lin Shiyue completely ignored her mother's accusation and smiled as she introduced, "Mom, this is my boyfriend, his name is Ye Wutian, Wutian, she is my mom."
"Hello, madam," Ye Wutian greeted Mother Lin politely.
Mother Lin sized up Ye Wutian from head to toe, her face filled with dissatisfaction. She didn't respond to Ye Wutian but grabbed her daughter's hand and forcibly pulled her away from him.
"Mom, what are you doing?" Lin Shiyue snapped, breaking free from her mother's grasp.
"What am I doing? A girl isn't even married yet, can't you be a bit more reserved?" Mother Lin chastised with a frown.
"Mom, Wutian is my boyfriend, it's only normal for me to hold hands with him," Lin Shiyue argued.
"I said no means no," Mother Lin said firmly, in a way that brooked no argument.
