Just as Ye Wutian became entranced, the woman suddenly asked, "Do you like what you see?"
Ye Wutian started, hastily shifted his gaze, and stubbornly explained, "I was just looking at the necklace around your neck."
"I think you were looking at something much prettier than the necklace, weren't you?" the woman said with a teasing smile as she exposed his lie.
Ye Wutian curled his lips and offered no further explanation.
After pouring two glasses of wine, the woman sat down opposite Ye Wutian, picked up a glass, and said, "This red wine is imported from the outside world, and it's quite pricey!"
Ye Wutian glanced at the wine bottle, then lifted the glass to take a sniff. He really couldn't begin to express his disdain; it was clearly a cheap knockoff sold in supermarkets for a mere couple of dozen bucks.
"You've been ripped off," Ye Wutian said truthfully, setting down his glass. He typically wouldn't drink wine of such low quality.
