The four women had chatted for who knows how long when Shen Mengchen glanced around and suddenly realized the guy was nowhere to be seen.
Shen Mengchen remembered Ye Qiu saying he was going out for a bit, but now nearly an hour had passed and he still hadn't returned.
"Mengchen, what are you looking at?" Shangguan Mingyue asked when she noticed Shen Mengchen's lack of response.
"I'm looking for that guy Ye Qiu, he's been out for quite a while now," muttered Shen Mengchen.
Shangguan Mingyue and Shangguan Hong also looked around, but they too failed to spot Ye Qiu, which led Shangguan Mingyue to wonder, "Could he have gone back to his room?"
Niu Yinyin, ever so understanding, pushed open Ye Qiu's door and peeked inside. There was no sign of Ye Qiu, so she quickly turned back to her three sisters and said, "Brother Ye Qiu isn't inside."
"Where is he?"
Shangguan Mingyue stared at the door for a moment and then said to the other women, "I'll go out and take a look."
