Flickering violet shadows could be seen moving silently, towards a certain direction, on the way, these shadows eliminated anyone they saw as quickly as possible without raising any alarms.
These shadows were naturally Vin and the Nine Nexus Primes, they were the ones in charge of taking out all the enemies they could find.
Vin had assigned the Paragons for the rescue mission, while the Shadows were in charge of investigating any vital information on the Tenebrous Taskforce especially in relation to their experiments and their goals.
While he was investigating the Hage Village earlier and gathering Intel, he had also captured one of the members of the Taskforce and searched through their memories.
This was one of the new skills he had awakened from his eye trait, and now he had gotten the name of this trait but it seems his eyes were still evolving..
But he hadn't gotten the name of this trait when he had broken through to the Spirit sea realm, he had only gotten it when his bloodline had taken over his body earlier, it was then he had awakened some other skills too.
This trait was called God's eye, it was an overpowered eye trait that could be used to forcefully search through people's memories, it can also be used to control them, and even communicate and pass information to other people who have been marked with an imprint.
And that was also in addition to the fact that he could see through anything.
With this technique Vin was able to forcefully search the person's memories and got a lot of vital information from him.
Some of the information included, the entire layout and structure of the Tenebrous Taskforce's base in this place.
The base was established in a deep valley that was located behind a huge waterfall, this waterfall acted as a natural barrier that separated them from the Hage village.
The base of the Tenebrous Taskforce nestled within this valley stretched approximately five hundred meters in circumference, the valley's layout was strategically designed for maximum security and efficiency.
The base's perimeter was surrounded by a high, imposing wall constructed from dark, rough-hewn stone. Watchtowers stood at regular intervals, each equipped with advanced surveillance sentinels and manned by skilled Taskforce operatives.
The main entrance, a heavily fortified gatehouse, was situated at the northernmost point of the base. A secondary entrance, hidden behind a waterfall, served as a covert entry point for special operations teams.
And to the northeast was where the ventilation shaft was located, and it was from these two enhances that the Exodus Order infiltrated from.
The central hub, located at the heart of the base, housed the Taskforce's command center, briefing rooms, and the quarters of their higher-ups. This area was heavily reinforced with additional security measures, including array formations and even guards.
To the east layed a sprawling training complex, comprising obstacle courses, combat training areas, and cultivation chambers. This was where Taskforce operatives honed their skills and prepared for missions, mostly raid missions when they were about to go abduct kids for their experiments .
The southern section of the base contained the barracks and living quarters for Taskforce personnel, as well as amenities like a mess hall, infirmary, and recreational facilities.
A state-of-the-art research facility, was located in the western part of the base, this was where they focused on carrying out their experiments on children and the likes. It was also in this facility that all the captured children were kept so this place was well guarded.
A heavily fortified armory and storage area, situated near the central hub, housed an extensive arsenal of weapons, equipment, and supplies.
Vin and the Exodus Order had to navigate this complex layout, avoiding detection and overcoming formidable security measures to achieve their objectives.
The entire structure of the Tenebrous Taskforce's base was like a small sect in of its own. It was was hard to imagine how it was even built in the first place, as it must have taken a very long time to do so.
No wonder it was very, difficult for their base to be located, most times it was only a stroke of luck, and this was also the case for the Vin and the Exodus Order. Even he wouldn't have thought that the Tenebrous Taskforce would build such a base in such a remote area.
Far off to the western part of the base, in front of a stone door that housed the facility of the Taskforce, four guards stood on both sides of the the door manning and protecting it.
Opposite them were different types of winding hallways that let to different places of the base, and these hallways were also guarded.
One would have thought that if anyone wanted to come to this place, they would have to pass through any of these hallways.
But who would have known that the enemy was actually above them in the vent, up above them, above the stone roof of the hallway was another long winding hallway that was also criss-crossed around the entire base, but this is hallway was only about three meters tall.
This was naturally because it was not made with the intention of anyone passing through there, because this was the ventilation shaft of the base.
But right at this moment the vents were occupied with twenty hooded figures, that wore pristine deep violet colored battle robes.
These people were naturally the ten Shadows and the ten Paragons. The Shadows were in charge of gathering intel on the research facility and whatever experiments they were carrying out.
While the Paragons were in charge of rescuing all the children held hostage, and since their missions were located in the same place, they were moving together.
Currently the two leaders of the two groups were in a strategic discussion on how to proceed.
"So, any ideas how we should proceed?" Diane the leader of the Shadows asked the person next to her.
She was a fair skinned girl with auburn black hair, and a budding beauty with deep eyes but all these were hidden behind her hood. There were faint dark shadows swirling around her body, a manifestation of her shadow element.
"Well Lord Zero, instructed we should avoid engaging directly in combat with the guards, and we should proceed covertly, so that's what we'll do, I'm sure you can come up with a plan for that right?" the hooded figure beside her replied.
This person was Shane, and he was the leader the Ten Paragons, behind his hood was a cascading short blond hair and bright golden eyes.
He was someone who cultivated a rarely seen technique, a Sun flame technique.
He glanced at the scene downwards as he threw the question back to Diane who scoffed at him, before also looking at the air space below her too.
The scene below them was the entire operations of different people moving about in dark black robes as they carried out different experimental operations.
The scene was quite gorry as well as but these people were much more professional and meticulous than the other Taskforce they had met.
This was naturally inside of the facility of the research center. Though the vents, they had directly bypassed the entrance and arrived above the facility itself.
So they were able to directly monitor the movements of the researchers. The researchers in question weren't that strong at all, in fact the strongest person here was was a man who seemed to be the head researcher here.
And he was only in sixth stage of the Body refining realm, while the rest of them were in the fifth stage, and even judging by their appearance it could be seen that they weren't much of a fighter, that was why they didn't make any effort to cultivate, or increase their realms.
The facility was about fifty meters on width and there were about fifty of them in there, and for a group of villains they quite were well organized in their various tasks.
"With the way they are moving about all around the place, it would be very impossible to just sneak in without being discovered, so the best way way would be to just eliminate them as quickly as possible without raising any alarms to those guards outside." she replied after a while.
"But that would be even more impossible since this place isn't sound proof, the moment we decend the place, they would immediately raise alarm, and alert the guards" Shane added.
"Well it's a good thing we came prepared, one of the Shadows happen to cultivate a skill called the 'Silence of the night', which can block sounds within a fifty meters radius, just perfect for this mission." Diane said.
"Is that so, we also happen to have someone who cultivate a sound skill too called the 'Soundless Monastery', if we can combine the effects of both skills, them we'll be good to go, if we strike fast enough, we both should be able to eliminate that head researcher as quickly as possible" Shane said too.
"That's good, but don't you think it's strange?" Diane asked suddenly.
"What is?" Shane asked back.
"I've been observing these so called researchers and unless I'm wrong, I'm pretty sure there are some of them who look like they don't want be here, for example, those group of twenty there who are in charge of the files and documents, their expressions seem out of place" she said as she pointed at a certain corner of facility.
