Inside Vin's consciousness, he was still struggling with the Phoenix for control, but his chances was getting slimmer by the moment.
The moment he had broken through to the fifth stage, the strength of the Phoenix had exploded out. Although he had also gotten stronger, compared to the Phoenix he was still lacking.
He remembered what the Phoenix had said the moment it had dived into his body.
"You are not worthy of owning this body"
He was still deliberating on what it had meant, and after a very fierce struggle he lost the battle and the Phoenix took over.
The moment that happened, Vin's eyes opened in the outside world and gazed at the world coldly.
"Vin are you okay?" old Bai asked worriedly but Vin only looked at him coldly with utmost unfamiliarity.
It was then that old Bai knew that something was wrong and his fears came through when Vin said his first words.
"How dare you get so familiar with me, insect?" Vin uttered with utmost contempt.
A very frosty aura blazed out of old Bai's body immediately "You're not Vin, who the hell are you?" he asked on a very cold voice filled with reeking killing intent, he would never allow anybody to take control of his deciple's body. No matter who it was.
"Don't flatter yourself human, you're not worthy of knowing who I am. But I can leave you with a name. I am Eremiel." Vin replied in disdain.
It was at that moment it suddenly clicked to old Bai "So you're the Hell Phoenix, why are you betraying your master?" he asked coldly.
"Master?. Don't you dare compare me to that weakling, he's no master of mine, we're just two entities occupying the same body and now it solely belongs to me." Eremiel raged.
"It seems you have no intention of returning his body back to the owner"
"And what can you do about it?"
"Hehehe. Well I just have to make you do so"
"Hahaha. With just you?, don't make me laugh"
"I know you're watching in there Vin, so let me show you how strong your master is, so next time you wouldn't dare pull this kind of trick against me again, because today I'm going to beat you senseless"
"Is that so, then let me show you what true strength is"
"Do your best"
Eremiel looked at Old Bai with a frosty expression and only muttered four words.
"Celestial Authority ~ Dark Nebula"
It seemed as if the whole world had come to a standstill as it felt like time had stopped moving.
A mysterious violet colored runic symbol that said 'Hell' appeared on Eremiel's forehead, his already overflowing long violet hair grew into a large mane behind him, and a large amount of violet colored runic flame like symbols condensed around his body like an armor.
But the greatest change of all was that the spiritual energy around him grew ten times more stronger, it seemed to be exerting a certain authority over the surrounding space.
"Hmm. Not bad but it's not enough" old Bai stated, he seemed to want to provoke Eremiel and that did the trick.
Eremiel look at old Bai but didn't pay any him any heed as he said another four words.
"Celestial Authority ~ Nebula Chains"
Suddenly within a thousand meters around them, hundreds of small violet colored runic circles appeared all around them.
The runic circles were only a meter wide and from within those runic circles hundreds of violet colored chains drilled out, criss-crossing and covering the both of them like a domain of chains.
These chains were condensed purely from Flaming runic symbols, and were pulsating with so much power that it made old Bai take it seriously.
"It seems you really know how to use runic symbols now, it's almost like second nature, where exactly did you come from" old Bai said as he decided to get serious.
"You're not worthy of knowing that, you should be more worried about yourself" Eremiel stated as he raised his hand and brought it in a downward motion, while muttering aloud.
"Celestial Authority ~ Demonic Judgement"
Immediately hundreds of chains condensed on the air above them like spears before the shot towards old Bai like raging dragons.
Old Bai raised his hand and muttered.
"Celestial Authority ~ Compass Reflection"
Immediately a huge compass made of verdant green runic symbols appeared above him and deflected the chains back to Vin, Vin seeing this immediately stopped the skill.
But by then old Bai had was already pointing a finger at him. Casting a new skill
"Celestial Authority ~ True North"
A concentrated amount of runic symbols gathered in front of him and condensed into a five meter long needle before shooting towards Eremiel.
Eremiel humphed and immediately countered.
"Celestial Authority ~ Neptune's Protection"
A large amount of concentrated violet colored runic symbols condensed around him like a small world, protecting him within.
The needle tried to Breakthrough but couldn't, Eremiel didn't wait and casted another skill.
"Celestial Authority ~ Uranus Unbound"
And immediately the small world surrounding him exploded into a huge wave of energy blasting the needle away, while rushing towards old Bai like an angry river.
But old Bai countered immediately.
"Celestial Authority ~ Cardinal's Protection"
A four dimension compass condensed from Verdant green runic symbols appeared around him and deflected the energy wave.
They continued exchanging blows as the casted incredible skills, showing perfect mastery over runic symbols.
Large booming sounds was heard from time to time as they didn't hold anything back but no one had the advantage over the other despite the disparity on their cultivation levels.
Sadly the only audience to witness this incredible battle were the thirty members of the Exodus Order.
Although they didn't exactly know what was going on as they couldn't hear what the both of them had discussed way up in the sky.
But they still amazed at how strong they were, especially their master who was holding out his own against his own master.
They felt proud to be his subordinates, and it gave them immense joy.
As both combatants kept on attacking each other, their auras kept rising till it reached its peak.
"I think it's time to end this farce human, it's time I got serious" Eremiel stated as he raised his right hand up in the air and a huge hundred meter violet colored runic circle appeared above him.
"I was about to say the same thing" old Bai said as he too raised his arm and a huge hundred meter verdant colored runic compass appeared behind him, the fingers on it started spinning with so much speed that it created its own forcefield around it.
And then they both casted their skills at the same time.
"Celestial Authority ~ Dio Graze"
"Celestial Authority ~ Atlas Singularity"
A huge ball of violet colored runic Flames phased out of the runic circle as it blasted towards old Bai.
The temperature within the entire thousand meter radius was increased by hundreds of degrees, it almost felt like they were in hell itself as the place became so hot.
But old Bai wasn't to be outdone either, and the moment he casted his skill, it seemed the world had come to an end.
Atlas Singularity was a Cataclysmic Attack Skill that old Bai barely used because of its dangers, but this time he was forced to.
The skill Created a localized singularity that warped reality, drawing everything towards a central point. The singularity's gravity was so intense that it pulled in enemies, allies, and environment within a massive radius.
It dealt massive damage to everything caught in its grasp, disintegrating targets at the singularity's core, and erasing them from existence
It then created a shockwave that dealt additional damage and knocked back surviving targets
When everything had died down, the skill had left behind a temporary rift in space-time, causing residual damage and distortions
Atlas Singularity was an incredibly powerful attack skill that could turn the tide of battle in an instant. Its ability to warp reality and deal massive damage made it a game-changer in combat.
However, its high energy cost and long cooldown made it a skill that had to be used strategically. So he couldn't use it all the time because of the heavy price.
Old Bai looked around at the massive destruction that had been caused by the the aftermath of their battle and shook his head wryly.
He was glad they had fought so far way from the mountain and so high on the sky. He looked at Vin who had passed out in his hands, and heaved a huge sigh of relief.
"Those skills you used should be the ones you just unlocked right, I'm pretty sure you've definitely understood how to properly wield them. Though you should wake up soon" he muttered to himself.
He then turned around and returned back to the mountain base, he pacified the kids by telling them that he and Vin were only sparing.
And that Vin was exhausted that's why he had passed out, he then took him to his personal residence and tucked him in, so he could have a proper rest.
He wasn't lying when he said Vin was very exhausted.
