The moment Daniel saw the car, he closed his eyes briefly, doing his best to hide his emotions. 'Damn, even the car is cute,' he thought to himself. As he got into the car, he glanced around casually.
"Your address," Anastasia's voice cut through his thoughts.
"Huh?" Daniel didn't catch her the first time.
"Your address," she repeated, pointing to the car's GPS screen.
"Oh," he said, entering half of the address before stopping. "Are you sure?"
"What is it?" Anastasia asked innocently, not catching the implication behind Daniel's question.
"I mean, don't you feel nervous? We're talking about my home—just you and me at my place?" Daniel raised his eyebrows, hinting at his concern through his words.
Anastasia kept her gaze on the road and began to drive away. "Mr. Daniel, even right now, it's just you and me. So if you had any bad intentions, you wouldn't wait until we got home, would you?" She gave him a brief glance.
