The news of the explosion had already reached the ears of the media, at that time
We were in Roselia's house.
Right now she was sleeping, deep in sleep.
The police had come to the house to check on her.
Of course she pretended to feel remorseful and cried.
But once the police left, she went back to being who she was.
I think Ross had been shocked more than once in a day.
The police had also labeled the accident as accidental gas explosion.
Now Moselia Thompson is known as the girl who lost her both parents in one night.
Or that's what people thought.
We knew they weren't her real parents anyway.
As the police left Roselia's house, Ross let out a deep sigh, his eyes fixed on Moselia's peaceful form. "Well, that was a close call," he said, shaking his head.
Zayn nodded, his eyes narrowing. "We need to keep a low profile for now. The media is going to be all over this story."
Ross nodded in agreement. "And we still don't know what Sophia's endgame is. She's not going to give up easily."
Zayn's gaze drifted back to Moselia, his expression softening. "We'll protect her, no matter what."
Just then, Moselia stirred, her eyes fluttering open. She looked up at Zayn and Ross, a hint of a smile on her lips. "Hey," she whispered.
Zayn's face broke into a warm smile. "Hey, sleepyhead. How are you feeling?"
Moselia's gaze drifted around the room, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings. "Where am I?" she asked, her voice still groggy.
Ross stepped forward. "You're at your house. We brought you here after... everything."
Moselia's eyes widened, memories flooding back. "The explosion... my parents..."
Zayn's expression turned somber. "We'll talk about it later, okay? Just rest for now."
Moselia nodded, her eyes drifting shut once more.
"Her memories is really fluctuating, I wonder when she'll finally be okay"
As she slept, Zayn and Ross exchanged a look, their faces set with determination. They would protect her, no matter what lay ahead.
Agent Ross came downstairs.
"I need you to go scout the airport, we're leaving the country after her graduation, away from harm" Zayn said.
"No matter where you go they'll find her" agent Ross said . "But then it's better than staying here, it's too much for her"
Zayn nodded. "I'll leave it up to you"
Agent Ross nodded, his expression grim. "I'll get started on the arrangements. But, Zayn, we need to be realistic. We're up against a powerful organization. They'll stop at nothing to get to Moselia."
Zayn's jaw clenched. "I know. But we can't just sit here and wait for them to come to us. We need to take action, get her to a safe place."
Agent Ross sighed. "I'll do my best, but we need to be prepared for any eventuality. We can't let our guard down, not even for a moment."
Zayn nodded, his eyes fixed on the stairs, his mind on Moselia. "I know. Let's get to work."
As Agent Ross turned to leave, Zayn called out to him. "Ross?"
"Yeah?"
"Make sure Moselia's safe. No matter what happens, she's our top priority."
Agent Ross nodded, his expression resolute. "Always."
"do you love her?" Zayn asks him
Agent Ross paused, his back still turned to Zayn. For a moment, he didn't respond, and Zayn wondered if he had overstepped.
But then, Ross slowly turned around, his eyes locked on Zayn's. "I care about her deeply," he said, his voice low and measured. "She's a remarkable young woman, and I'd do anything to protect her."
Zayn's gaze searched Ross's face, looking for something more. "That's not what I asked," he said, his voice gentle.
Ross's expression softened, and for a moment, Zayn saw a glimmer of something more. "I...," Ross started, his voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know if I'm capable of love, Zayn. But if I am, then yes, I think I might be in love with her."
Zayn's eyes widened, surprised by Ross's admission. He hadn't expected that. But as he looked at Ross, he saw the sincerity in his eyes and knew that he was telling the truth.
"you-" Zayn paused.
"You do know she's mine right? And I won't let her go, only death will do is part"
Agent Ross's expression turned serious, his eyes narrowing slightly. "I'm aware of your feelings for her, Zayn," he said, his voice measured. "And I respect that. But let's be clear: my priority is her safety, not your claim on her."
Zayn's eyes flashed with a warning, his jaw clenched. "You're playing with fire, Ross. I won't let anyone take her from me."
Ross stood his ground, his gaze unwavering. "I'm not trying to take her from you, Zayn. But I will do what's best for her, even if it means going against you."
The air was thick with tension as the two men faced off, their eyes locked in a silent challenge. It was clear that neither would back down, and the question of Moselia's future hung precariously in the balance.
"Zayn? Ross?" A sweet sounding voice came from upstairs and the both men looked up to see Moselia up the stairs.
"Moselia"
"Mosi"
They both called at once.
"What are you guys doing? I'm hungry"
Moselia's innocent question cut through the tension like a knife, and both Zayn and Ross couldn't help but smile.
"Hey, Mosi," Zayn said, his voice softening. "We were just discussing some plans. Come down and we'll get you something to eat."
Ross nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we'll get you fed. And then we need to talk to you about something."
Moselia's eyes sparkled with curiosity as she made her way downstairs. "What is it? Am I in trouble?"
Zayn chuckled. "No, you're not in trouble. At least, not yet."
Moselia playfully rolled her eyes. "Great, that's reassuring."
As she reached the bottom of the stairs, Ross and Zayn both instinctively moved towards her, their faces filled with affection. Moselia smiled, feeling safe and loved, unaware of the complexities of the adult world swirling around her.
As they enveloped her in a warm embrace, Moselia felt a sense of belonging she had never known before. She was surrounded by people who cared for her deeply, and it was a feeling she couldn't get enough of.
"Okay, okay," she said, laughing. "I get it. You guys love me. Now, about that food..."
Zayn and Ross chuckled, releasing her from their grasp. "We'll get you fed, princess," Zayn said, ruffling her hair.
Ross smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "And then we'll talk about your future."
Moselia's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "My future? What about it?"
Zayn and Ross exchanged a look, their faces serious once more. "Let's eat first," Zayn said. "Then we'll explain everything."
Moselia nodded, her mind racing with possibilities. What did they have planned for her? And why did they look so serious?
As they sat down to eat, Moselia couldn't help but notice the tension between Zayn and Ross. They were trying to hide it, but she could sense it beneath the surface.
"So, what's going on?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Zayn and Ross exchanged a look, and for a moment, Moselia thought they wouldn't answer.
"We need to leave the country," Ross said finally, his voice low.
Moselia's eyes widened. "What? Why?"
Zayn's jaw clenched. "It's not safe for you here. Sophia's people are still out there, and we can't protect you if we stay."
Moselia's mind reeled as she tried to process this new information. Leave the country? But what about her friends, her school, her life?
"Where would we go?" she asked, her voice shaking slightly.
Ross's expression softened. "Somewhere safe. Somewhere you can start over."
Moselia nodded, trying to be brave. But inside, she was scared. What lay ahead? And would she ever be able to return to the life she knew?
"where should we go?"
She whispered.
Zayn's eyes locked onto hers, his gaze intense. "I've been thinking about that," he said, his voice low. "There's a place, a small island in the Caribbean. It's secluded, safe. We can start fresh there."
Ross nodded in agreement. "I've made some inquiries. It's a good option. We can get you a new identity, a new life."
Moselia's eyes widened as she tried to process this. A new identity? A new life?
"But what about... who I am?" she whispered.
Zayn's expression softened. "You'll still be you, Mosi. But you'll be safe. And we'll be with you, always."
Moselia nodded, trying to be brave. But inside, she was torn. Part of her wanted to run, to hide, to be safe. But another part of her wanted to fight, to stand up for who she was, to reclaim her life.
As she looked at Zayn and Ross, she knew she had a choice to make. And she knew that whatever she decided, they would be with her, every step of the way.
Agent Ross touched her hair fondly...
"Live to fight another day"
"We need to at least figure out who and what you can do, so we can be better prepared "
He whispered.
Moselia's eyes fluttered closed as Agent Ross's gentle touch sent a wave of comfort through her. She felt a sense of safety with him and Zayn, like they were her rock, her shelter from the storm.
"Live to fight another day," she repeated, her voice barely above a whisper. She knew he was right. She couldn't keep running forever, but for now, it was the best option.
Zayn nodded in agreement. "We need to understand your abilities, Mosi. What you can do, what you're capable of. It's the only way we can protect you."
Moselia's eyes snapped open, a surge of determination running through her. "Okay," she said, her voice firm. "Let's do it. Let's figure out who I am and what I can do."
Agent Ross smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "That's the spirit, Mosi. Together, we'll uncover the truth and take back control."
As they sat there, a sense of purpose settled over them. They were in this together, a team, a family. And they would face whatever came next, side by side.
Meanwhile after eating, Moselia decide to pack her things.
Her head was feeling wavy as she did so.
As she remembered the look her parents gave her just before the explosion...
As the memories replayed, her door opened and Zayn came in.
She turned around and saw him.
"Hey, how's packing going?" Zayn asked, his eyes scanning the room as he took in the scattered clothes and open suitcase.
Moselia's eyes welled up with tears as she turned to face him. "I...I don't know if I can do this," she said, her voice shaking.
Zayn's expression softened, and he crossed the room to her in two strides. "Hey, what's wrong?" he asked, his arms wrapping around her in a gentle embrace.
Moselia buried her face in his chest, the memories of her parents' final moments flooding her mind. "I keep thinking about them," she whispered. "The way they looked at me...like they knew something was going to happen."
Zayn's hold on her tightened. "We'll get through this together, Mosi," he whispered back. "We'll find out the truth, and we'll make sure you're safe."
As he held her, Moselia felt a sense of comfort wash over her. She knew she wasn't alone, that Zayn and Ross were there to support her every step of the way. But the memories still lingered, haunting her.
"they're dead now, you don't have to worry, they never loved you, you were not even their real daughter anyway" Zayn said coldly.
Moselia's body stiffened in Zayn's arms, his words like a slap in the face. She felt a wave of anger and hurt wash over her, and for a moment, she couldn't breathe.
"How can you say that?" she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "They were my parents, no matter what. And they did love me, in their own way."
Zayn's expression softened, and he pulled back to look at her. "I'm sorry, Mosi. I didn't mean to hurt you. It's just...we need to focus on the truth, and the truth is, they were using you for their own purposes."
Moselia shook her head, feeling a mix of emotions: anger, sadness, and confusion. "I don't know what to believe anymore," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Zayn's eyes filled with compassion, and he pulled her back into his arms. "Believe in me, Mosi. Believe in Ross. We're here for you, no matter what."
Zayn kissed her immediately.
"I've missed this, I've missed us"
Moselia's lips parted in surprise, but as Zayn's warm mouth moved against hers, she felt a rush of emotions and her body responded instinctively. She had missed this too, the feel of his lips, the taste of his kiss, the way he made her feel like she was home.
As they kissed, Moselia felt a sense of comfort and security wash over her. It was like no time had passed at all, and they were back to where they were before everything fell apart.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, deepening the kiss, and Zayn responded by pulling her closer, his hands roaming her back and shoulders.
For a moment, they forgot about the danger, the uncertainty, and the secrets. All that mattered was the two of them, lost in the moment, lost in each other.
As they broke apart for air, Moselia smiled up at Zayn, her heart racing with excitement. "I've missed us too," she whispered.
Zayn lifted her up.
"Ross isn't home, we have enough time to ourselves" he dropped her on the bed as he trailed kisses around her.
"Can you.. are you.. will you be able to.. remember the last time it.. it hurt you, will you still be able to... Do it" he looked scared that he'll hurt her prehaps as he looked at her fondly.
Moselia's cheeks flushed as she gazed up at Zayn, her heart racing with anticipation. She knew what he was asking, and she nodded slowly, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'll be okay, Zayn. I want to try."
She remembered the last time, the pain and the fear, but she also remembered the love and the connection they shared. She trusted Zayn, and she knew he would be gentle, that he would take care of her.
Zayn's eyes searched hers, looking for any sign of doubt or fear, but Moselia just smiled and reached up to touch his face. "I want to be with you, Zayn. I want to feel you close to me."
Zayn's expression softened, and he leaned in to kiss her again, his lips gentle and tender. As he trailed kisses down her neck and shoulders, Moselia felt her body relax, felt herself melting into his touch.
She knew it might hurt, but she was willing to try, willing to face the pain for the chance to be with Zayn, to feel his love and his touch.
Moselia's cheeks flushed as she gazed up at Zayn, her heart racing with anticipation.

She knew it might hurt, but she was willing to try, willing to face the pain for the chance to be with Zayn, to feel his love and his touch.
As Zayn's hands roamed her body, Moselia felt a mix of emotions: excitement, nervousness, and a hint of fear. But she pushed the fear aside, focusing on the love and desire she felt for Zayn.
Zayn's touch was gentle, but Moselia could sense the restraint in his movements, the carefulness with which he handled her. He was afraid of hurting her, and she knew it.
She reached up and took his face in her hands, looking deep into his eyes. "I trust you, Zayn," she whispered. "I know you won't hurt me."
Zayn's eyes searched hers, and for a moment, Moselia thought she saw a glimmer of tears. Then, he nodded, his face set in determination.
Slowly, carefully, Zayn began to make love to her, his movements gentle and tender. Moselia felt a rush of emotions, a mix of pleasure and pain, but she refused to give in to the fear.
As they moved together, Moselia felt a sense of connection, of oneness with Zayn. She knew that this was what she wanted, what she needed.
And as they reached the peak, Moselia felt a rush of love and joy, a sense of freedom and release. She knew that she had faced her fears, and she had come out on top.
As they lay together, wrapped in each other's arms, Moselia felt a sense of peace and contentment wash over her. She knew that she had taken a step towards healing, towards overcoming the trauma of her past.
Zayn held her close, his eyes filled with love and adoration. "I'm so proud of you, Mosi," he whispered. "You're so strong, so brave."
Moselia smiled, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment. She knew that she still had a long way to go, but in this moment, she felt like she could face anything as long as Zayn was by her side.
As they drifted off to sleep, Moselia knew that she had found her safe haven, her place of refuge. She was home, and she was exactly where she was meant to be.
But little did they know, their moment of peace was short-lived. The sound of the front door opening, followed by Ross's voice, echoed through the house, shattering the tranquility of the moment.
"Mosi, Zayn, we need to talk," Ross said, his voice urgent. "We've received some news, and it changes everything."
Ross came into the room and saw both of them.
She immediately used the sheets to cover up.
"Ross give me a minute, we'll be down"
He nods and looks at her one last time. And then glowered at Zayn.
"I'll be downstairs, hurry up alright, and you too" he says to Zayn and then proceeds to close the door.
Moselia's face flushed with embarrassment as she quickly covered herself with the sheets. She couldn't believe Ross had walked in on them like that. She glanced over at Zayn, who was grinning sheepishly.
"Guess we got caught," he whispered, chuckling.
Moselia playfully hit him on the arm. "Shh, it's not funny," she whispered back, trying to stifle a giggle.
Zayn's grin faltered for a moment as he caught the serious look on Ross's face before he left the room. "Yeah, something's up," he said, his voice low. "Ross wouldn't look like that unless it was something big."
Moselia's curiosity was piqued. "What do you think it is?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Zayn shook his head. "No idea, but we're about to find out."
They quickly got dressed and made their way downstairs, wondering what news Ross had received that could change everything.
Ross was sitting in the living room, his eyes fixed on a file in his hands. He looked up as they entered, his expression serious.
"Ah, Mosi, Zayn, thanks for coming down," he said, his voice grave. "I've received some intel that changes everything. It's about your past, Mosi. Your real past."
Moselia's heart skipped a beat as she felt Zayn's hand instinctively reach for hers. She took a deep breath, trying to prepare herself for what was to come.
"What is it?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Ross hesitated, collecting his thoughts before speaking. "It seems you're not who you think you are, Mosi. Your parents, they weren't your biological parents like we said. You were part of a secret government experiment, a program designed to create super soldiers."
Moselia's eyes widened in shock as she felt her world turn upside down. Zayn's grip on her hand tightened, offering her support.
"What do you mean?" she asked, trying to process the information.
