"Oh no..." Yanfei's eyebrows furrowed slightly as several Abyss Mages appeared behind her, encircling her completely.

"Since you're so stubborn, we'll just have to teach you some manners!" The Abyss Mage cackled menacingly, slowly advancing towards Yanfei.

Yanfei drew her weapon, her expression gravely serious. They were already within Mondstadt territory; calling for backup would be too late.

Under the relentless assault of the Abyss Order, Yanfei gradually found herself struggling, forced steadily backward.

"You... violating Liyue's laws like this will land you in prison..." Yanfei quickly called out, knowing it might not deter them but could buy some time.

"Laws? Liyue's laws hold no power over us, ha ha ha..." The Abyss Mage doubled over with laughter, finding this the funniest joke they'd ever heard.

Seizing the opportunity, Yanfei sprinted towards the snow-capped mountains.

"Capture her! Don't let her escape!" Realizing the situation, the Abyss Mage immediately gave chase. Though unsure what she had uncovered, they knew dead witnesses posed no threat.

"At The Captain's report: An anomaly detected near the snow-capped mountains—someone is engaged in combat with monsters!" At their camp, a soldier reported to Eula.

"Assemble the squad; everyone prepare for battle and move to assist..." Eula immediately stood up, swiftly issuing tactical orders.

As soon as Eula arrived on the scene, she spotted Yanfei cornered by the Abyss Order and rushed forward without hesitation.

"Haha... Serve the Abyss now..." The Abyss Mage let out a wild laugh, gathering a dark energy orb in its hand.

"Ice Surge!" With a cold command, Eula charged forth, her frost-covered sword swinging powerfully.

"What? Another opponent!" Realizing the situation, the Abyss Mage hastily began defending against Eula's fierce onslaught.

Other members of the garrison squad followed suit, engaging the Abyss Mages in a prolonged struggle.

The Abyss Mage understood that being in Mondstadt territory was highly disadvantageous for them.

"Retreat... You haven't seen the last of us!" it shouted, gradually falling back while continuing the fight.

With their cargo now stranded, they had no choice but to abandon it.

Eula didn't relentlessly chase after the fleeing Abyss Mages either. After all, these generic knights were still inexperienced; pursuing them could easily lead to unforeseen complications.

"Are you alright? Why were those monsters chasing you?" Eula turned her attention to Yanfei, crouching down to ask.

"Phew..." Yanfei finally let out a sigh of relief and looked at Eula, saying, "Thank you for your help. I'm a lawyer from Liyue."

Eula stood up, placing one hand on her hip, and scrutinized Yanfei with evident dissatisfaction at this response.

Yanfei innocently blinked and then smiled, "I was just investigating; they stole something crucial from Liyue."

"Open the chests!" Eula swiftly glanced at her teammates, giving the command.

Feeling helpless, Yanfei confessed, "Inside are just some smartphones. Honestly, what madness is driving the Abyss Order!"

"Oh right, weren't smartphones introduced by Mondstadt?" Yanfei grinned, subtly trying to establish rapport. Despite being a lawyer, she was adept at navigating social situations.

"Cell phones?" Eula murmured, recalling that she was seemingly the first to own one, gifted by a certain someone.

After conducting thorough inspections, they confirmed Yanfei's account. Satisfied, Eula didn't press further and instead arranged for several knights to escort Yanfei back to Liyue.

It would be a severe incident if anything happened to Yanfei within Mondstadt's territory.

"Thank you! What's your name?" Yanfei looked at Eula, still feeling unsettled from their encounter moments ago.

"Eula Lawrence!" Eula replied mildly, gazing back at Yanfei.

"What a lovely name! If you ever have any legal questions, feel free to consult me; it's complimentary. Although my primary focus is on Liyue law, I'm quite familiar with Mondstadt's regulations as well!" Yanfei smiled warmly at Eula.

"Sure!" Eula nodded, and then both of them bid each other farewell.

As Yanfei left, she remained puzzled. Why would the Mondstadters wear those head coverings? It truly baffled her, and she almost couldn't resist asking about it. However, considering her safety, she decided against voicing her curiosity.

"All right, Traveler, it's time to offer the incense ointment!" Zhongli stood before the statue, speaking calmly.

Paimon nodded and pointed at a bag of ointment, saying, "This one is..."

"Phew, finally done. This scent reminds me of a big sister; could it be that Emperor Rex Lapis's incarnation is one?" Paimon let out a breath and curiously looked at Zhongli, asking.

"In accordance with universal logic, Emperor Rex Lapis has countless incarnations, so it's not entirely impossible!" Zhongli gazed at Paimon, calmly explaining.

"Oh!" Paimon nodded, genuinely intrigued to see what this incarnation of Rex Lapis might look like - if she was pretty or not.

"Next, you will need Purifying Dust Spirit. However, due to certain reasons, I cannot accompany you on this task!" Zhongli glanced at both Lumine and Paimon, speaking mildly.

"Well, alright then!" Paimon nodded, thinking inwardly that Zhongli always just talked but never actually did anything substantial, hmph!

"She is known as Madame Ping, located near Chihu Rock in Liyue. You can go seek her there." With these words, Zhongli closed his eyes, seemingly savoring the fragrance from the incense paste while standing beneath the statue.

"What a peculiar guy!" Paimon muttered under her breath before leading Lumine away.

Venti also arrived successfully in Liyue, reaching its bustling harbor. However, something caught his attention.

"Let's all sing with passion!" A girl with two cow horn-like braids was enthusiastically performing on a wooden stage, strumming her guitar.

Below the stage, a blue-haired boy tried to push against the crowd and make his way out.

"Hey there, my blue-haired friend! Come join me onstage for a duet!" Xinyan pointed at Chongyun below and shouted loudly.

Upon hearing this call, Chongyun froze, his expression stiffening. Just moments ago, he had felt his Pure Yang Physique becoming increasingly difficult to suppress, prompting him to leave.

However, out of politeness, Chongyun reluctantly climbed onto the stage.

With Xinyan's vibrant music accompanying him and her enthusiastic encouragement, Chongyun's Pure Yang Physique erupted completely.

His face flushed red, Chongyun began singing loudly, even breaking into energetic dance moves on stage.

Xinyan watched, stunned. Initially, she thought Chongyun was just a shy boy, but now it seemed like a complete 180—he appeared more frenzied than even herself.

From below the stage, Venti observed with a chuckle, already aware of what was unfolding. Naturally, he decided to let the young lad enjoy himself before stepping in to help!
