"Head to Wangshu Inn and find the Conqueror of Demons! With the Emperor's assassination, we need him here immediately!"
The trio looked up towards the sky, but the immortal crane had vanished without a trace.
"Pfft, she truly comes and goes like the wind!" Paimon sighed, somewhat impressed.
"So, we're heading to Wangshu Inn now? Coincidentally, I know exactly who you're looking for!" Lin Feng smiled, addressing both Lumine and Paimon.
"Huh, aren't you from Mondstadt? How do you even know Liyue's Adepti?" Paimon asked curiously.
"Well, when I arrived, I encountered some Hilichurls trying to rob me, and that's how we met. Let me share a secret with you - he loves Almond Tofu, hehe!" Lin Feng chuckled mysteriously, revealing this tidbit to them.
"Uh, alright then!" Nodding, Paimon accompanied Lumine towards Wangshu Inn.
Naturally, Lin Feng didn't join them; he admitted he was feeling slightly apprehensive. After all, Hu Tao mentioned his impending misfortune, likely due to spending time with Xiao.
Instead, Lin Feng headed towards The Chasm to construct a base station at its entrance. This way, miners descending below could still call their families while working.

"Ah, here we are at the Wangshu Inn!" Paimon exclaimed, gazing upon it with admiration.
"Traveler, this place seems to have far less spiritual aura than Jueyun Karst. Are there really any Adepti here?"
Lumine nodded and replied, "Well...both that Immortal Crane and Lin Feng mentioned him being here, so it should be alright."
"But it's so small here. With Adepti being quite large, where could he possibly hide?" Paimon looked around the inn, puzzled.
"Are you two looking for me?" At that moment, a slightly cold voice echoed from afar.
Paimon hastily glanced up, catching a fleeting green figure atop the Wangshu Inn.
"Huh? Where did they go?" Paimon scratched his head, bewildered.
"I'm right here! Hmph, such disrespect towards an Adeptus!" Xiao impatience stared at Paimon, clearly annoyed.
"Ah...where did you suddenly appear from? You scared me half to death!" Paimon, clutching her chest, looked down at Xiao with fear.
"What brings you here?" Xiao asked them coldly, eyeing both Lumine and Paimon.
"We...we have this, Traveler, quickly show him the talisman!" Paimon urged Lumine hurriedly.
Lumine nodded and presented the Talisman of Hundred Inhibitions to Xiao.
"Possessing this talisman only ensures I won't harm you; it doesn't guarantee you won't get injured due to my presence!" Xiao's tone softened slightly before his figure vanished abruptly.
"Ah... He... Where did he go?" Paimon asked, slightly frightened by Xiao's sudden disappearance.
Lumine shook her head and recalled Lin Feng's words about this Adeptus enjoying Almond Tofu.
"Traveler, why is this Adeptus so short? Is it because..." Paimon began speculating about Xiao, as all other Adepti she had seen were colossal beings.
In no time, they prepared a plate of Almond Tofu. Paimon swallowed hard, resisting the urge to devour it immediately.
She vigorously fanned the dish with both hands and shouted loudly, "Xiao, where are you? We've made Almond Tofu for you!"
Just as Paimon finished speaking, Xiao appeared before them.
"What do you require?" Xiao asked mildly, glancing at the Almond Tofu.
"We invited you to enjoy some Almond Tofu, hehe!" Paimon giggled, while Lumine placed the dessert on the table.
Xiao nodded, removed his mask, and started savoring the treat.
"Traveler, let's quickly explain our situation while he's eating!" Paimon glanced at Lumine urgently, whispering fast.
After Lumine provided a detailed explanation, Xiao understood their predicament. He nodded towards them and said:
"I am aware of the matter now. I will discuss this with the other Adepti and communicate with the Liyue Qixing."
With those words, Xiao suddenly vanished.

Lumine finally let out a sigh of relief; this frantic journey had nearly exhausted her to death.
"Traveler, we have a signal here! Let's play a round of 'eat chicken'!" Paimon grinned at Lumine excitedly.
Smiling back, Lumine took out her phone, and together with Paimon, they joined a game.

Mondstadt's streaming industry was rapidly flourishing.
Kaeya became an entertainment broadcaster, daily live-streaming the humorous antics of his cavalry squad.
Venti successfully transitioned from being a tech-focused streamer to an entertaining one, without losing any fans' affection.
Diona managed to further enhance the reputation of Cat's Tail Tavern by creating unique cocktail blends that, despite their odd ingredients, resulted in surprisingly delightful drinks. Other aspiring mixologists sought her expertise, but their attempts often led either to poisoned customers or flavors best left undescribed.
Neko found this quite distressing; she felt herself straying further from her goals. To add insult to injury, Margret insisted on giving her raises - truly infuriating!
Barbara occasionally hosted live events, garnering countless new fans. However, even facing the camera, she remained hesitant to sing live, much to her fans' disappointment.
Klee stopped streaming her fish-blasting antics but began teaching viewers how to make Dodoco Tarts instead. However, this venture didn't last long before it was swiftly terminated by that dreadful Great Devil Captain Jean.
It remains unclear how Bennett managed it, but he somehow convinced young Razor, the wolf pup, to join his "Bennett Adventure Group." Together, these two unfortunate souls endured numerous hardships.
Amber occasionally streamed her aerial stunts,
and Fischl, the chuunibyou girl, along with her companion Oz, embarked on their own live-streaming journey.
"Ah ha-ha... My subjects, behold your princess descending upon you!"
"What she means is, 'Hello everyone!'" Oz translated promptly as viewers quickly joined the live stream.
"Princess?" someone asked, puzzled.
"Baron Bunny, I hereby knight thee as the Grand Guardian of the Immernachtreich, under my royal name, Princess of the Nightless Kingdom!"
"What Miss Fischl means is..."
In this manner, the chuunibyou girl and her translator Oz rapidly amassed fans—uh, subjects, one might say.
