A stout and robust cook, wielding a cleaver in one hand and her other hip cocked, pointed at the knights.

"Who just said my cooking is terrible?"

The knights glanced at the dead boar on the ground, then assessed themselves, all shaking their heads vigorously.

"We were praising your exceptional culinary skills, truly the best chef of our Knight Regiment!" Kaeya hastily smiled at the cook, but his grin appeared forced and stiff.

After the cook left, everyone collectively sighed in relief. Even facing monsters didn't evoke such intense pressure.

"Pork soup coming up!"

Moments later, the cook served lunch - wild boar soup...

Quickly, each knight received a bowl of soup, with Kaeya's being particularly large.

They exchanged glances, waiting for someone to take the first bite, wondering if it might be lethal.

"Captain Kaya, why haven't you started eating yet? It won't taste as good once it cools down!" The cook looked at Kaeya, puzzled.

"Haha, alright!" Closing his eyes, Kaeya took a sip.

After three tense seconds, Kaeya opened his eyes and encouraged the others to eat.

"Go ahead, everyone! It tastes really good!" With a faint smile, Kaeya discreetly turned away and spat out a strand of pig hair from his mouth.

Others looked puzzled, wondering if the cook had improved and made something edible for once.

With skepticism, they cautiously took a sip but nearly gagged instantly. If not for the cook's presence, fearing to end up like that wild boar on the chopping board, they would have vomited immediately.

"Ha ha, don't rush! There's plenty more in the pot. This wild boar soup is full of nutrients!" With those words, the cook left.

As soon as she was gone, everyone turned towards Kaeya, their expressions filled with deep resentment, almost tangible enough to solidify. Had any of them died at that moment, they'd undoubtedly transform into vengeful spirits...

Just then, one knight fished out a piece of intestine containing faintly green substances...

"Eww..." Witnessing this, they could no longer suppress their disgust, faces contorting like bitter gourds.

Even Kaeya felt queasy, managing only a forced smile.

Originally, the cook was quite skilled, but during an incident where a knight was poisoned, she bravely sucked out the poison, saving his life. However, in doing so, she lost her sense of taste and suffered diminished vision. Despite her subsequent culinary decline, the cavalry squad held immense respect for her actions.

Despite Bai Shao burning the food for the guerilla squad, everyone's faces still radiated with joy.

"If you're not eating it, can I have it?" one knight jokingly asked his comrade beside him.

"Who said I'm not eating? Little Bai Shao's cooking is delicious!"

"But you just mentioned otherwise; I heard you clear as day!" retorted another knight.

Lin Feng also received a portion of the burnt meal, which tasted quite unpleasant. However, seeing how enthusiastically everyone else ate, he couldn't help but appreciate their endearing spirit.

Eula remained silent, quietly consuming her share without complaint. As for Bai Shao, after taking a single bite, tears welled up in her eyes - perhaps this was why she wouldn't be easily swayed by Kaeya...

After dinner, everyone had an hour to rest and recover their energy from the morning's intense battles.

"All right, let's interview these adorable warriors!" Lin Feng smiled and approached one of the knights.

"How do you feel about your performance in today's battle?" Lin Feng asked cheerfully.

"Is this being live-streamed? Can I see myself on my phone?" the knight eagerly inquired.

"Absolutely! Right now, there are over 100,000 viewers watching the live stream!" Lin Feng nodded with a smile.

"Wow, 100,000?" The knight became visibly excited and quickly pulled out his phone. Opening MiHoYo Live, he found that indeed, his face was prominently displayed on the first video.

"See? I didn't lie to you, did I?" Lin Feng teased, observing the knight's enthusiasm.

Continuing, Lin Feng asked, "Alright, is there anything you'd like to say to the viewers watching the live stream?"

"Hmm, let me address your earlier question first. Honestly, I'm quite dissatisfied with my performance. I almost got hit by those Hilichurls; if it weren't for Captain Eula..." the knight responded, sounding somewhat disheartened.

Lin Feng reassured him with a smile, "Your performance was impressive! Just remember to prioritize safety next time. Look, even the viewers in the chat are praising you!"

"You're amazing, keep going!"

"Well done, but please stay safe!"

"Wishing you a victorious return every day - always take care!"

"I absolutely adore you! Your fight against monsters was so cool, keep up the great work!"

Reading these heartfelt comments, the knight's eyes welled up with tears of emotion.

"Thank you all for your concern. Furali, if you're watching this live stream, I solemnly promise to stay safe and marry you!" The knight looked directly into the phone's camera, making a heartfelt commitment.

"Oh... she must be incredibly lucky!"

"Wonderful...I'll wait for you..."

"+1, waiting for you too!"

"Yes, waiting for you..."

The tone of the live stream abruptly shifted, leaving one to wonder how his beloved would feel upon seeing this declaration.

"You must take extra care!" Lin Feng smiled and then approached another knight, asking with a grin:

"Hello, may I ask you some questions?"

"Hmm..." The knight nodded, appearing quite reserved, even colder than Eula.

"Why did you join the guerilla squad?" Lin Feng queried with a smile.

"My parents were killed by monsters..." the knight replied matter-of-factly, showing no emotional fluctuation, as if discussing something mundane like eating or drinking.

Initially, the chat was filled with comments about how aloof this handsome knight seemed. However, upon hearing his response, the live stream instantly quietened down significantly.

"Apologies... Do you have any wishes or aspirations?" Lin Feng, feeling slightly embarrassed, asked another question.

"Wishes? Probably just to eliminate all monsters, or more accurately, keep fighting until I fall before one myself!" The knight replied coldly yet calmly.

"Sigh... Take care!" Lin Feng sighed, unsure how to offer comfort. With a heavy heart, he approached another knight.

"What do you think of your Captain Eula, your fellow comrades, and the dishes made by the young cook?" Lin Feng decided to steer the conversation towards lighter topics, as the live stream chat had become increasingly contentious.

"Dear bleeding hearts, why don't you let those monsters kill your parents too, since you sympathize with them so much!"

"I believe Mondstadt should enact a new law: anyone sympathizing with monsters should be exiled."

"For those claiming monsters are pitiful, look at what they've done - did our fellow citizens deserve this fate?"

"If you sympathize with Hilichurls, go live in their camps instead of blaming the Knights of Favonius who protect us!"
