Lin Feng picked up his phone, smiling as he approached the trio. Upon seeing this, the Hilichurls hastily grabbed their wooden sticks and charged towards him.

"Wait, I just want to say something quickly!" Lin Feng waved frantically, then used his phone's translation app to communicate with the Hilichurls.

The creatures were taken aback; they couldn't believe he spoke their language! Perhaps he was once a Hilichurl who had transformed into a human?

Seeing that the Hilichurls didn't attack, Lin Feng breathed a sigh of relief. With a grin, he pointed towards three more Hilichurls nearby, who were attempting to knock Sunsettias off a tree.

"You're still chatting here? Look over there, they're stealing your Sunsettias!"

Lin Feng's smile turned mischievous, revealing his penchant for immediate retaliation.

Instantly, the first group of Hilichurls rushed towards the others, yelping loudly.

As Lin Feng watched, the Hilichurls indeed began brawling fiercely. The sight of sticks striking flesh was intense.

Suddenly, their fight halted, and all eyes turned towards Lin Feng. He swiftly sprinted back towards the snow-capped mountains, thinking, "No way! Six Hilichurls is more than I can handle!"

"I'm back!" Lin Feng pushed open the door with a wide grin on his face.

The moment Eula saw Lin Feng, an indescribable wave of joy surged through her heart. However, her expression remained composed as she simply replied, "Oh, dinner's ready!"

Lin Feng noticed that none of the dishes on the dining table had been touched and felt deeply moved. Eula had actually waited for him; all his efforts these past days seemed truly worthwhile!

Eula took a bite from one of the dishes, instantly frowning as it was already cold.

"Let me reheat them!" Eula gathered several plates and headed to the kitchen.

Lin Feng followed, chattering excitedly, "Did you know? Today, I saw Diluc-senpai. He constantly guards Mondstadt in his own way, always battling monsters at night!"

"And when I was coming home, I encountered three Hilichurls..."

Eula froze momentarily, turning to inspect Lin Feng quickly. Seeing he wasn't injured, she calmly responded, "Be more careful next time. If it gets too late, don't bother returning!"

Hehe-ing softly, Lin Feng said, "As long as you're here, no matter how late, I'll always come back."

Eula's hand trembled slightly at this unexpected declaration, a surge of happiness filling her heart. Her fair cheeks began to blush faintly.

"Hmph, I'll remember this grudge!" Unsure of what else to say, Eula resorted to her usual catchphrase. The emphasis, however, lay in the latter part - 'I'll remember.'

Internally rejoicing, Lin Feng noted she hadn't objected. Heh, even if it's hailing ice, I'll still return every day; not coming back would be plain foolish!

After dinner, Lin Feng once again invited Eula to play games together. Without hesitation, she promptly accepted.

"Lin Feng, hurry up! There's a ton of diamond ore here!"

"Eula, help me! I've stumbled upon a zombie den, they keep spawning non-stop, and I can't hold out much longer!"

"I'm on my way, hang in there..."

The next day, Lin Feng rubbed his eyes, realizing they had spent the entire night on the living room sofa playing games. Eventually, they both fell asleep there. Gently turning his head, he noticed Eula peacefully slumbering against his shoulder.

Her expression was serene, hands resting on her thighs, and her phone lying idle on the couch beside them.

Lin Feng remained motionless on the sofa, careful not to disturb Eula's sleep.

Unbeknownst to him, it was already 8 AM.

"Traveler, maybe we shouldn't go. What if they lock me up in a cage?" Paimon's face filled with worry, fearfully speculating.

"That sounds great! Then Paimon would have free meals. Plus, who knows, you might even be exhibited and earn some Mora," Lumine teased, looking at Paimon with a smile.

This little glutton, Paimon, was almost eating her out of house and home. Consuming five meals a day, each equivalent to two whole pigs. Despite tirelessly completing commissions every day, she couldn't save a single Mora by the end of it all.

"Traveler, how could you say that? I'm your best companion, hmph!" Paimon looked angrily at Lumine, placing her hands on her hips and huffing indignantly.

"You're my Emergency Food..." Lumine joked, smiling.

"No way! Best friend, best friend, I'm your very best friend!" Paimon vigorously shook her head and started circling around Lumine's head.

Feeling dizzy, Lumine hastily nodded, "Alright, alright, you're my best friend..."

"Then...then let's not go there. Let's...let's go to Liyue instead!" Paimon exclaimed happily.

Lumine suddenly halted her steps and looked at Paimon, saying, "But I still need to find the Anemo Archon here in Mondstadt. Why don't you go ahead first, and I'll join you later?"

Upon hearing Lumine's words, Paimon swiftly flew over and hugged her tightly, exclaiming, "No way! We're best friends, remember? I want to stay with you!"

Smiling, Lumine embraced Paimon back and said, "Alright, then this noon, I'll treat you to Sticky Honey Roast!"

"Yay, let's go together! If he dares to lock me up again, I'll unleash my Super Paimon Tornado and send him flying, hehe!" Paimon giggled happily, as the promise of delicious food made her forget all worries.

They arrived at the Knights of Favonius headquarters precisely at 8 o'clock. Approaching the guard at the entrance, they asked, "Hello, has Lin Feng arrived yet?"

"The internet knight? He hasn't shown up today!" The guard shook his head, feeling slightly envious of Lin Feng's luck. What kind of fortunate coincidence allowed him to become a captain right upon arrival?

In contrast, the guard had been stationed at the gate for three years now, only to continue guarding it day after day. Had he taken a different path, like becoming a son-in-law elsewhere, he could have summoned tens of thousands of soldiers to besiege Mondstadt by now!

Paimon and Lumine exchanged glances and decided to enter, waiting inside. As they wandered around, unexpectedly, they stumbled upon Klee's confinement room.

"Hey, Miss Honorary Knight and little Paimon, did you come to play with Klee?" Klee looked up, sounding quite delighted.

Lumine awkwardly shook her head, feeling a strong sense of guilt wash over her.

"But once I finish here, we can definitely hang out!" Lumine smiled warmly.

Initially disappointed, Klee's spirits soared at Lumine's words, causing her to jump excitedly.

"Miss Honorary Knight, let's go fishing with bombs later! Klee has already figured out the perfect spots; we can blow up all the fish in the lake!"

Klee eagerly picked up a piece of paper showing Starfell Lake, covered with numerous black lines converging on a single dark spot. This was Klee's explosion diagram, drawn based on what she had read in books.

"Traveler, taking Klee out to bomb fish won't get us reprimanded by Captain Jean, right?" Paimon whispered discreetly into Lumine's ear.

"She probably...won't find out, right?!" Lumine chuckled uneasily but then noticed the pile of Jumpy Dumpties stacked in the corner, and her smile instantly vanished.

Klee grabbed two red Jumpy Dumpties, intending to give them to Lumine and Paimon. "Miss Honorary Knight and little Paimon, these are Klee's upgraded Jumpy Dumpties - more powerful and waterproof now!"
