Eula suddenly entered the room and noticed Lin Feng's nosebleed, immediately following his gaze. Instantly, a blush appeared on her fair cheeks, adding a striking touch of color.

With a sharp "slap," Lin Feng's face bore a fresh palm print. Eula swiftly rushed over and retrieved the clothes she had hung out the window.

"I'm blind, could you please tell me what just happened? I think it might be due to excess internal heat; my nose started bleeding for no apparent reason." As Lin Feng spoke, he began groping around the bed with both hands.

His search didn't go unnoticed as he inadvertently felt a white panty. Gathering his courage, Lin Feng picked it up and cautiously sniffed it near his nose.

"Is this a towel? It smells quite nice!" Without giving Eula a chance to react, Lin Feng proceeded to wipe his face with it.

Eula stood frozen, the initial blush spreading across her entire face.

She quickly snatched back her underwear and slapped Lin Feng's left cheek once more. Now perfectly symmetrical, it would have been a delight for someone with OCD!

"You...you're taking advantage of me, a blind man—a pitiful, sightless victim blinded by your own hand!" Lin Feng loudly accused, managing to squeeze out a tear from one eye.

Eula watched Lin Feng's dramatic performance, and for a moment, she almost believed him. However, his excessive sentimentality quickly gave away his act, allowing Eula to see through it.

"Get out! You're not welcome here!" Eula coldly stated as she opened the door.

The chilling wind rushed into Lin Feng's short sleeves, prompting him to immediately dive back under the covers, tightly pulling them around himself to prevent any drafts.

"I'm not leaving, you can't make me even if you beat me to death!" Lin Feng's stance was unwavering; he wasn't foolish enough to step outside in this weather - it would be suicide.

Eula observed Lin Feng, but he remained unmoved, playing off his blindness convincingly.

With no other choice, Eula couldn't bring herself to harm a civilian. She stepped outside, closing the door behind her. Despite the freezing conditions, she wore remarkably thin clothing, exposing part of her thighs - truly impressive resilience!

As soon as Eula left, Lin Feng had no intention of emerging from the warm blankets. Instead, he decided to engage with the System once more.

"System, considering I've built a base station and promoted your phones, could you give me some rewards?" Lin Feng spoke in a placating tone, aware that he needed its assistance.

"Reward? How about an 80% discount on materials?" the System countered. It had already allowed Lin Feng to obtain items for free; his demands were getting unreasonable!

"Eighty percent? You're still charging me for materials?! Are you out of your mind!" Lin Feng's calm shattered instantly. Previously, everything was provided gratis. Had resources become scarce in Teyvat now?

"But I'm not even asking you to pay, yet you dare to mention rewards?" The System seemed well-versed in debate tactics, leaving Lin Feng thoroughly impressed and speechless.

"Look at other systems, they strive to enhance their protagonist's power in every possible way. Now compare that with me - all I ask is for a few Visions. Is that too much to request?" Lin Feng continued to plead with the System, determined to remind it that he hadn't come to Teyvat just to do good deeds or build signal towers.

"Consider other hosts, would any of them dare to scold their systems? They usually treat their systems like revered fathers," the System lamented, clearly resentful due to frequent criticisms from its limited functionality.

"And besides, you're not even the protagonist!" the System added coldly, extinguishing the spark of hope that had momentarily ignited within Lin Feng.

With a sudden "bang," the door opened again, revealing Eula carrying a frozen wild boar. Her kindness ultimately prevailed, and she returned with food.

"Ah, the aroma of meat! Could I have a bowl of rice to enjoy with this delightful scent?" Lin Feng pleaded pitifully towards the ceiling, as his blindness prevented him from directly addressing her.

Eula sighed, cut off a leg portion, and headed into the kitchen. Soon, sounds of chopping and frying filled the air.

As the enticing aromas wafted from the kitchen, Lin Feng's mouth watered uncontrollably, droplets even falling onto the bedsheet. He couldn't contain his anticipation any longer.

Eula emerged from the kitchen, holding a plate of cooked dishes. However, upon seeing Lin Feng, she noticed a damp spot on the blanket. Unable to avoid certain thoughts, considering a young man alone under a blanket, who knows what he might have been up to?!

Lin Feng's stomach grumbled loudly, prompting him to grope around blindly and sit upright. Carefully, he felt his way towards the dining table.

Eula scrutinized the damp patch on the blanket, ready to immediately dispatch Lin Feng if anything seemed amiss. She had no tolerance for wrongdoing.

Fortunately, Lin Feng wasn't accustomed to nocturnal activities, and Eula soon realized it was merely saliva, deciding not to pursue the matter further.

"Eula, time for dinner!" Lin Feng called out with a smile towards the door, although Eula was actually standing by his bed.

Hearing Lin Feng invite her to eat, Eula felt a subtle warmth in her heart. Growing up in the Lawrence Clan, her parents only cared about restoring the family's glory, showing little concern for her well-being.

Without a word, Eula served two bowls of rice from the kitchen and placed one set of bowl and chopsticks in front of Lin Feng.

Lin Feng touched the bowl, smiling gratefully at Eula.

Extremely hungry, he picked up the chopsticks and started digging in. To his surprise, Eula even added a piece of meat to his plate - heavens, what special treatment was this?!

As Lin Feng savored the tender wild boar meat, the inner warmth gradually dispelled the chill from his body. The two sat across from each other, eating silently, yet they felt like a close-knit family despite their lack of conversation.

After finishing their meal, Eula silently began cleaning up while Lin Feng contentedly reclined in his chair to let digestion take its course. Ah, this is life!

"I'm going out on patrol; don't wander off!" Eula instructed Lin Feng before leaving the house.

"System, hook me up with a smartphone for some entertainment, it's too boring here!" Lin Feng started pestering the System, genuinely feeling restless with idleness.

Surprisingly, without any hesitation, a white smartphone materialized in front of Lin Feng. The System seemed unusually cooperative.

Lin Feng quickly opened an app resembling WeChat, hoping to connect with friends, only to find there was no signal whatsoever. Well, it made sense since no base stations had been established yet - where would the signal come from?

"System, are you messing with me?" Lin Feng asked again, visibly frustrated and turning red with anger.

"What could I possibly mess with? Without building a base station, how can you expect to receive signals?" The System responded, somewhat exasperated by Lin Feng's question.

"Sigh, constructing the base stations will be quite a daunting task ahead!" Lin Feng sighed and started calculating in his mind, estimating how many base stations he needed to build based on the map in his head.

However, since the System provided free materials, he figured he should construct more than necessary - after all, why leave potential benefits untapped!
