"I don't know why the second day of school is always so boring" Joseph said while hitting his head on his locker.
Alfred who was on the floor stared at his master as he continuously hit his head on his locker. Though he was somewhat puzzled at why his master would be hitting his head on the locker. He stared at his master, trying to access the mood of his master. Joseph immediately caught his Panda staring at him. He flashed a smile at Alfred and Alfred couldn't help but smile back.
"You are wondering why I'm hitting my head on the locker, right? Joseph asked.
Alfred nodded.
"I'm having a headache and my head is about to burst" Joseph complained hitting his head on the locker. "But I'll be alright very soon".
"Master, is it because of the club you went to last night? Maybe that's the reason you are having a headache"Alfred kicked his master's leg making Joseph chuckle. "You didn't get enough sleep especially since you came home very late".
"Ehm.....we did face some difficulties last night" Joseph mumbled to Alfred's hearing.
"What do you mean by'we'?" Alfred asked raising an invisible brow.
"I mean, me and Jeffrey" Joseph sighed, still continuously hitting his head on the locker.
Alfred looked around the whole locker room. His robotic eyes, scanning and accessing the people in the room. The students in the locker room were all boys. Some of them were chatting, discussing and laughing over jokes. While some were busy with their phones. As usual, classes were until 10 am. So, the students had a lot of time to while away.
As for Jeffrey, he had not arrived at school yet. Alfred wondered why Jeffrey had not arrived at school. Though he didn't want to say it, so as not to add to his master's headache. He watched keenly as his master continuously hit his head on the locker. Instead of whiling away time in watching his master,he decided to do something to entertain himself.
He picked his master's bag on the floor and searched through it. Searching through the bag,he finally found his master's phone. He smiled at the sight of the phone. He took the phone out of the bag, turning it on, he inputed the phone security password. Screwing through the phone, his eyes widened at the sight of video games. He didn't wait any longer as he occupied himself with the video games, playing the games with all his interest.
Joseph stopped hitting his head on the locker. He smiled seeing Alfred playing video games in his phone. He sleepily yawned as he felt his eyes were about to pop out.
He didn't know why he had been feeling all dizzy and stressed out. He didn't even have appetite in eating especially since he skipped breakfast. It wasn't like he was hungry but he tired and dizzy. The headache he was feeling had prompted him into hitting his head on the locker. He had been feeling all tired and dizzy, since last night. Maybe,it could be as a result of last midnight events.
After both he and Jeffrey had ventured into the building, directly uncovering the building's secrets even stumbling upon something that could change their lives, he arrived home late. Good thing for him, his sister had not woken up. So, she didn't even know that her brother had gone clubbing with his friend,at midnight and arriving home almost dawn.
Alfred did a great job in keeping his sister asleep. Even protecting the house in case of any robbers or thieves. He was so proud of his Panda for being a good Panda and he was sure going to reward him.
Joseph smiled broadly as he remembered Jacintha. He couldn't wait for her to be admitted into the school. Not to talk of meeting her again. Her image suddenly appeared in his mind. He imagined himself being close to her and kissing her passionately. He chuckled as he remembered how he was drooling over her beauty. Joseph couldn't get her out of his mind.
Infact,to him... she was the Goddess of Beauty.
"Master!! Jeffrey has arrived" Alfred announced excitedly, calling Joseph's attention to Jeffrey who was entering the locker room.
Joseph smiled at the sight of Jeffrey. At least,a little part of the dizziness and tiredness would be washed away with the smile. Being happy at the sight of his friend, he spread out his arms as the two friends locked in an embrace. The other boys in the locker room didn't seem concerned about the two friends that were hugging. It was like they didn't seem interested in the presence of the two friends.
The two friends parted from the passionate hug while flashing each other weary smiles. Jeffrey looked absolutely terrible. His jet black hair was messy and it seemed like he didn't even comb it. He seemed tired and couldn't properly stand on his two feet. It was like he hadn't had a proper rest in days. His weary smile immediately dropped as soon as it came.
There was little similarity in the way the two friends looked that day. It was like something was wrong. Something was different about them and they both knew they weren't themselves that day.
They both had messy hair that didn't seem to have been combed or washed. Somehow, the eyes of the two friends lacked life. They were both extremely tired, so tired and dizzy to the point that they would faint any minute. It was even strange that the both of them had terrible headaches. Some random people would think the two of them were suffering from a strange illness.
One wouldn't even suspect that they were suffering from the effects. The effects of the Biochemical. Though,it was only a minor effect, the real effect of the Biochemical was on its way.
"You look terrible, Jeffrey" Joseph commented, breaking the little silence that lingered between the two of them.
He smacked Jeffrey's arm getting earning a smirk in return.
Jeffrey combed his hair back with his hand in order to put it in place " You look worse".
Joseph chuckled. His chuckle was laced with weariness and tiredness.
"That's only because,we both look terrible. You look like someone that have not had a bath in weeks" Joseph joked trying to lighten the weariness between them.
"You look like someone that's suffering from leprosy. Maybe, that's because of your white hair" Jeffrey retorted.
They smiled at each other before quickly dropping the smiles.
"Anyways, when are classes starting?" Jeffrey asked with a serious look. Joseph raised an eyebrow at the question. "Don't mind me for asking a silly question, just having a terrific headache".
"Amazingly, I'm also having a headache" Joseph gave a smug smile. "But luckily for a latecomer, classes are until 10 am".
"That only means that I still have time to gather my books for classes" Jeffrey sighed while resting his back on his locker.
"Yep!" Joseph also rested his back on his locker.
The two friends stayed in silence as they rested their backs on their lockers. Their minds went wild even venturing into different directions. As for Alfred who was below them, he sat on the floor playing martial arts video game and he didn't seem interested in the silence that lingered between the two friends.
All around the two friends, were male students that spent the time chatting and discussing. Some of the groups of male students were laughing over jokes. Others talked about the past football and basketball matches. The two friends stayed in silence as they stared at nothing in particular, their minds were going far and wild.
It wasn't long when a female figure cat-walked into the locker room. Her heels were resounding immediately silencing the voices of the male students in the locker room. Her gorgeous hips that were swaying left and right immediately caught Jeffrey's attention.
The familiar female figure walked over to Jeffrey and planted a soft kiss on Jeffrey's cheek. Jeffrey smiled in aware of the marvelous creature before him. He took her in his arms and slammed his lips on hers. They kissed for a while before coming to a stop.
The familiar female figure was Jessica.
As usual, Jessica's uniform fitted her posture and her heels that resounded anytime she walked, were somewhat intimidating. She smiled cheerfully at how Jeffrey looked at her in aware and admiration of her beauty. But she suddenly frowned, sending hints of fear into Jeffrey.
The once quiet locker room, returned to it's chatting and discussing. They had only stopped to know who was giving the intimidating aura. The locker room soon returned to it's noisy state again.
"You look terrible" Jessica said to Jeffrey while frowning. She turned to Joseph and frowned even more. "The both of you look terrible. Are you sure the both of you are not sick?"
Both Jeffrey and Joseph looked at each other. A smirk written on both their faces.
Jeffrey felt ashamed. He felt ashamed that even his girlfriend told him how terrible he looked today. It was somewhat embarrassing that the handsome prince charming of the school looked outrightly terrible. He bent his head down in slight shame, the headache he was feeling suddenly increased.
"At least, I'm not the only one that looks terrible" Joseph spoke, breaking the silence.
"It's all your fault that I'm looking terrible today" Jeffrey hissed.
"Is it really mine?" Joseph asked. "Last time I checked,we both look bad".
"Are you sure you guys aren't sick?" Jessica asked with a raised eyebrow. "You two didn't look like this yesterday".
"Ehm....we both went clubbing at midnight" Joseph groaned loudly.
"Flora told me about it" Jessica said with a cunning smile. "She even told me that Joseph got a girlfriend".
Joseph growled.
"She's not my girlfriend. She's Flora's cousin and we only just met" Joseph defended.
