Elan's face was a mask of fury now as he glared at Desdra like she had been over reacting. "What is wrong with you? You have been so intense these days--"
Desdra flinched. "Intensed? How can you say that! Clarissa is not coming and that's final!" She said to him.
Elan chuckled. "I don't understand what your problem really is. This is my birthday party after all, isn't it?"
"So? You think I don't know all about your weird fantasy of Clarissa?!" Desdra shot back at him. She didn't realize that Jared winced as he heard. He got angry and walked away.
Desdra's screams were waved off when Elan insisted that he wanted Clarissa at the party, "at least she would be good for publicity. Do you know how this would promote our company if people hear the famous Clarissa was at my party? Think again, lady. She's invited whether you like it or not." And with that, he too walked away.
