Seeing that it was Desdra who had been involved in not closing the deal, Clarissa made the decision to shrug it off. "Losing just one deal won't make the company go bankrupt," she thought to herself. People canceled all the time just as they signed deals. Why should this time be any different?
Anne asked again, "what should I do now?"
Clarissa turned to face her. "Go home." She said.
The next day, things were working just fine. She and Liam had agreed to make their meeting random that people wouldn't start to grow suspicious, because there were eyes and ears every corner of that company!
So the next time they would see would probably be until the next week, but they set plan to see on the weekend to share any latest news.
Clarissa got a call from the Chairman again during work hours, and she sighed. "What is it this time?" She rolled her eyes. "I'm not going to your grandson's party!" Clarissa muttered to herself.
