Blue paced back and forth inside the small room, glancing occasionally at Pluto, who lay resting on the sofa. Rim hovered nearby, her scanners flickering as she analyzed the environment.
"We can't," Pluto said suddenly, his voice steady but weary.
Blue stopped and turned, frustration evident on his face. "What do you mean we can't?"
"We'll need a boat to get off this continent," Pluto replied, his eyes meeting Blue's. "And not just any boat. It has to be really fast."
Blue looked at Rim. "Can't we just make one?"
Rim shook her head. "It's impossible. I've seen many people try to leave, but the sea beasts always kill them."
"Sea beasts?" Blue's eyebrows shot up in surprise.
"Yes," Pluto said, sitting up slightly. "Sea beasts are creatures that can sense anything that touches the water. They're incredibly powerful. Not even I think I can take them on."
Blue clenched his fists and walked angrily to the door. Just as he opened it, he saw Morin standing there, a serious expression on his face.
"We need to talk," Morin said, stepping inside.
Outside of Deira, Dorothy stood alone, her eyes lifeless and void of emotion. The once vibrant energy that had driven her now seemed extinguished. In front of her stood a man dressed in pristine white Bearu clothing, his stance authoritative and imposing. Behind him, more than 500 soldiers stood at attention, their presence a formidable display of power.
Dorothy's gaze was steady as she faced the man, the weight of the impending confrontation heavy in the air.
