Blue was startled by Morin's sudden appearance. He jumped back, his beam cannon activating instinctively. "What do you want here?" Blue demanded, aiming the cannon at Morin.
Morin raised his hands in a gesture of peace. "I have something important to discuss with you."
Pluto, still resting on the sofa, sat up. "Blue, do you know him?"
"Yes," Morin interjected, "Blue and I are old friends."
Blue looked Morin straight in the eye, anger simmering. "We need to leave this continent quickly," Morin continued. "The Bearu is heading towards this continent, and they are going to kill all of us."
Blue's eyes narrowed. "Why should we trust you?"
"I know you don't have a reason to trust me," Morin replied calmly. "But if we do nothing, we all die."
The room fell silent. Rim's scanners flickered as she assessed the situation. "I scanned him, and I can certainly say that he is not lying," she said.
Blue sighed. "How do you plan on getting off this continent?"
"Dorothy and Luchos made a ship that hovers on water," Morin explained. "If we head east, we can surely arrive there in five hours."
The group went quiet, processing the plan and its implications.
Dorothy stood outside of Deira, her eyes lifeless and void of emotion, yet a small smile played on her lips. In front of her, a man with white hair styled in a mullet and a muscular build stood, flanked by over 500 soldiers.
"My, are you all here for me?" Dorothy asked calmly, her voice betraying no fear.
The man stepped forward and shouted, "My name is Zorala Ozark. I'm a lieutenant at the Bearu , and I have been tasked with executing you, Dorothy, for not following the codes of the Bearu."
Dorothy raised her hands, her smile growing ever so slightly. "How do you plan on executing a god?"
Suddenly, it began to rain fire from the sky.
