Pluto lunged at Vagan with his katana, his movements swift and precise. Vagan dodged each strike with fluid ease, her body shifting gracefully out of the blade's path. Pluto's attacks were relentless, but Vagan's agility made it seem as if she were dancing rather than defending herself.
Frustration mounting, Pluto intensified his assault, his katana slicing through the air with deadly intent. But Vagan continued to evade, her plasma blade sparking menacingly in her hand. With a sudden shift, Vagan transitioned from defense to offense, her plasma blade striking out at Pluto.
Pluto raised his katana to block the attack, but every time the plasma blade connected, his katana took severe damage. The heat from Vagan's blade was intense, and each block caused the metal to warp and weaken. Desperate, Pluto activated his Devil Booster ability, his form blurring as he moved at the speed of sound.
Circling Vagan at blinding speed, Pluto attacked from all angles. But Vagan's Reactive Plasma Armor activated, a shimmering shield of energy surrounding her. Every time Pluto's katana made contact, it met the searing heat of the plasma shield, causing the blade to degrade further. Pluto pushed through the pain, his strikes becoming more frantic as he tried to find a weak spot.
With one final, desperate attack, Pluto swung his katana at Vagan, but the blade shattered upon impact with her plasma shield. In a swift, decisive move, Vagan punched Pluto with her free hand, sending him flying through the air. He crashed through five houses, each impact more jarring than the last.
As the dust settled, Pluto lay on the ground, his vision blurring. He felt a warm trickle of blood from a wound on his head. Struggling to stay conscious, he clutched the broken remnants of his katana, his fingers tightening around the hilt. His world was spinning, the pain and exhaustion overwhelming him.
The chapter ended with Pluto's blurred vision narrowing, his grip on reality slipping. The last thing he saw was the sky above him, darkening as if the world itself was closing in.
