Vagan approached Pluto's motionless form, her expression calm and composed. She leaned down and said, "It's over."
Blue watched from his hiding spot, his frustration mounting. As he tried to move forward to save Pluto, the human fused continued their relentless assault, bullets whizzing past him. "Don't these guys run out of bullets?" Blue muttered, ducking behind cover as the barrage continued.
Vagan lifted Pluto effortlessly, slinging him over her shoulder. "I want you guys to take care of Blue," she ordered the human fused. "I'll take Pluto to Feder."
"Roger," they responded, their gunfire never ceasing.
As Vagan walked away with Pluto, heading towards Feder, she began to notice an intense heat emanating from his body. The heat quickly became unbearable, even for her. Irritated, she dropped Pluto to the ground, stepping back as his body continued to heat up. Flames began to lick at his skin, and soon he was engulfed in fire.
Shift the focus to Luchos, who was in his lab with Dorothy. He watched the monitors intently. "Was it even a good idea to add a phase two to Pluto?" he questioned.
Dorothy, standing beside him, replied, "No, you added it because you said you wanted to make Pluto different from Blue."
Luchos glanced at the screen, monitoring Vagan along with Dorothy. The scene was tense, filled with uncertainty.
Shift the focus back to Pluto and Vagan. Pluto stood up slowly, a smile creeping across his face. His hair began to glow in a vibrant red-yellow color, and Blue watched in awe from his hiding spot. Pluto's eyes, with their star-shaped pupils, started to spin and glow a vibrant blue.
Vagan observed him, her expression shifting to one of cautious interest. "Looks like you still have some fight in you."
The chapter ended with Pluto standing tall, his eyes glowing and hair ablaze, staring at Vagan with a fierce determination and an unmistakable intention to kill.
